I think it would be cool to see exp chains affect the "kill X number of Y type of monsters" trials in a way similar to how weather affects "kill X number of Y type monsters during Z day/weather".

EXP chains could lower objectives an additional 1-5 per kill.

ie:
First kill - 189 objectives remain. (1)
EXP chain 1 - 187 objectives remain. (1+1)
EXP chain 2 - 184 objectives remain. (1+2)
EXP chain 3 - 180 objectives remain. (1+3)
EXP chain 4 - 175 objectives remain. (1+4)
EXP chain 5 - 169 objectives remain. (1+5)
EXP chain 6 - 163 objectives remain. (1+5)

See, this is a viable idea. The "Kill X amount of mobs" trials (for things like OAT weapons, for example) take a good long while as compared to the elemental trials. I'm sure BLMs would appreciate this for their affinity staves too. xD

hmm.. intriguing idea. Guess it makes sense if you look at it from the perspective of a proficiency standpoint. Unfortunately, a lot of people (if not most) are ripping through EP mobs on their trials though, so they wouldn't be building chains most of the time. But this could be an incentive to group up and take on EM+ mobs again I guess.
