Type of Internet Connection: Wireless
Internet Connection Speed: 9,5 Mbps
Date & Time: September 15th ++
Frequency: Always
Character Name: Celedar
Race: Tarutaru
World: Lakshmi
Main Job: Red mage
Support Job: Scholar
Area and Coordinates: Any
Party or Solo: Solo/party
NPC Name: Not applicable
Monster Name: Not applicable
Steps (example scenario):
1. I target player character
2. Console type (with target character selected): /follow
3. My character follows the target character
4. Target character switches armor pieces for faster casting to cast a buff (like stoneskin). My character looses /follow and runs straight forward.

This problem only occurred after the 15 th of september 2015 update. It greatly reduces the intention of /follow, being able to follow someone, either if they need to change gear to cure, or buff, or any situation where it is wise to change gear.

Uh... that's... been the case forever. If you don't have lockstyle on, then changing gear causes your character model to "blink," which then causes you to lose target because the model goes poof for a moment. As a result, you're set on auto-run in a straight line. The best solution is to turn on lockstyle so that your visible equipment doesn't change (this doesn't help, however, if you change weapon types, like staff to club). Otherwise, if you plan on "blinking" a lot, follow may not be the best idea as opposed to manual control.
