Pup automatom base melee damage
Platform:PC Windows 7
ISP: Comcast
Type of Internet Connection:cable/broadband
Internet Connection Speed: 50mbs
Date & Time:06Sep2015
Frequency: Always
Character Name: Urmom
Race:Taru
World:Shiva
Main Job:Pup
Support Job: dnc
Area and Coordinates: East Sarubuta
Party or Solo: Solo
NPC Name: None
Monster Name: Various lvl 0 monsters right outside the gate
Steps:
1: Put on Turbo animator and no other pet equipment and no attachments. Use the automatom equipment screen and /checkparam to make sure it's lvl 99 using valoredge frame/head
2. Deploy against a ton of lvl 0 monsters I am definitely capping attack against.
3. After a few dozen hits dmgs were 223-316
4. Repeat steps 1-3 with eminent animator (ilvl 115) dmgs were 244-342
5. Repeat steps 1-3 divinatory (ilvl 119) dmgs were 254-354
Now if you noticed dmgs are barely going up. The low end went up 9% from 99 to 115 and only 13.9% from 99 to 119.
To give you an example of how low that is compared to player melee dmg valoredge has the base delay a little higher than the slow DD clubs (but decently lower than most 2hd weapons) The highest non ilvl club had a dmg of 93... I couldn't find any ilvl 115 ones but there is an ilvl 113 that has 130 so a 40% dmg gain. While 119 clubs 187 a 101% dmg gain.
As you can see there is a huge disparity in the base dmg gained with ilvl to the point where it almost looks like it almost looks like there was actually no base dmg added to automatom melee attacks and those very meager gains are purely from base stat increases.
Should be noted that ranged actually suffers somewhat similar though not as bad going from 855 to 1155 (piercing weak if you wondering why that high) when going from 99 to 119 so 35% gain... much higher than the melee but way less than what say gun + bullets got (which a quick check shows it being around 83% or so)
tl;dr I think you guys forgot to increase base dmg when adding ilvl to automatoms
