Hi there,
I'm a long time player and have always appreciated that we had to test things in FFXI to learn their true stats and such, but in recent times the wiki community is woefully slow at updating things and one would nearly never see a test done on food items unless they're brand new and clearly going to be significant. Additionally, most people are under the impression that mages don't have any food worth using, while mages are the most played jobs currently.
My request is simple, would it be reasonable for the Devs to spill the beans at this point and just give us a table of food effects. I think people want to use the best food and consumables are great for controlling Gil inflation. Others feel free to comment. Thanks.
