Cant start Rhapsodies of Vana'diel New Missions (Stuck on Ring my Bell)

UPDATE:

SOLVED: I hadnt "closed" the mission in COP with the final cut scene in Meadows! This prevented me from starting RoV part 2.

I cant seem to progress through to the new missions.

I click on the Oaken door and the NPC Comitiolus says

"Ol' sea dog, have ya heard anythin' bout where the stoic warrior guy "Tenzen" is?
'Fraid I can let ya see our leader until he comes along, what with all this Escha hullabaloo going' on.

And I cant progress any more from this. I have all the expansion packs and there are no conflicting quests that I can see flagged that would cause this.

Any help please? I've spoken to various people who are progressing through and they too dont know why this is happening.

My Son has this same problem. I'm not sure what you mean in your solution and closing the mission in CoP. We have two characters still working on CoP. The character on "Distant Beliefs" was able to get the cut scene, while my Son is on "Garden of Antiquity" (8-1) and can't get the cut scene. When you say the final cut scene in the Meadows, do you mean the one up by the Falls as part of completing Dawn and finishing up CoP?

I thank you for letting us know the solution. We're just wanting to make sure we understand.

We're also wondering at what point between "Distant Beliefs" and "Garden of Antiquity" this hang up occurs for people.
