View Full Version : UCS-5024 Still Not Resolved

OK going on 4 days now and this issue still has not been resolved. There have been a few updates from SE and some people have verified that they are able to log on as if nothing ever happened.
I still log on and then am told that I must reactivate. Once I do that it gives me the error code and logs me out.
FYI this is not a problem with your computer or your software, it's a problem on SE's computers and their software not giving you access to use them. I put that in because I've read about a few people who think reinstalling can help them. It can't.
This has been repeated ad nauseam but I'll add this info here too.
What us users who are still experiencing this problem is:
1. We open POL, choose our ID, click connect, it says connecting to POL.
2. We get an error message that states: "Warning! PlayOnline services currently cannot be accessed because the selected PlayOnline account has already been closed, or because service fees have not been paid. By reactivating your PlayOnline account, you will be able to access PlayOnline services again. Reactivate PlayOnline account? (LM-08)". At this point there are two options: "Reactivate" or "Log Out", choose "Reactivate".
3. Next screen you are asked for your POL ID/password on "Confirm Membership" screen, you enter those, choose "Log In".
4. Finally, infamous screen of death. You get a "ERROR. UCS-5024. Invalid process. Please exit the current application".
Only option beyond that point is "Done" which kicks you out of POL.
According to SE's post (http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/polnews/news20587.shtml) you should rinse, repeat and hope you get in next time.
Now -THAT- is a very fun game to play for the last 5 days, isn't it?

Yeah Imoq, I posted on the other ones too. I just thought that I should create a new topic noting that it's still a problem. Plus I've had plenty of time on my hands lol. I'm soooo bored.
