Hi SE!
Can we get a kick-ass Chigoe pet? Even if it only has 1 or 2 crappy pet moves, I think lots of native double/triple attack and some potent debuffs would be a LOT of fun to play with.
If you want to limit it's exclusivity, you could make it a pet callable with Guttler / Farsha or Aymur equipped.
Thanks

It will not have any tp moves. It will have extremely low HP and any crit attacks will kill it instantly.

No chigoes have moves they just attack fast and weakly and die quickly... some cast and many have additional effects. I'd go for a chigre styled one.
This is not on my list of wanted pets, and I don't think it would be very useful, but I wouldn't complain if we got one :)

I wouldn't complain, either. The odd new pets tend to have their uses. And hey, if someone just always wanted to call out a chigoe...then sure! Why not.

It could be automatically be called if you get hit.. or via a /scratch emote!

I wish you could have a jug for your pankration pets... of which chigoes are an option.

Interesting. I've never tried Pankration. However, chigoes would be fun to have! I mean, RNGs get special arrows from their REM weapons. Why not give BSTs special pets from REM weapons?

Maybe one day we'll get an interesting, offensive Chigre pet that gives us the entire party en-plague. That's kind of an interesting TP-Denial strategy. :)

One day, one day ....we'll get this really cool, Enspell TP Drain on a Chigoe pet.

I'd rather have a tunnel worm as a pet.

I'd rather have a tunnel worm as a pet.
I'd be OK with this as well, but it would have to be a large worm. Maybe not as big as MegaMaw Mikey ...but I have seen a custom item that turns players into a large worm.

This idea was proposed years ago, and they shot it down. I'd still like to see a unique pet tied to Guttler Aymur and Tri-Edge. So bumping this thread.

You put a lot of thought into this and I love it. I would be so happy if we got a Ram pet! The porxie and the marid is a cool idea too...not my favorite pets because I always felt they were too squishy.
I hope SE wakes up and realizes that Beastmasters can and should buff the party, like Corsairs (but not Bards). We have 22 jobs to play with but everything depends on BRD/COR/GEO.
I also like that you've tied these weapons to RMA weapons, so that you actually have to complete content to make them. Also, adding a Ready move when a weapon is equipped is a nice idea!
What does "PKer" mean?

What does "PKer" mean?
Player Killer/Killing.
It's funny but I don't think they would put this kind of terminology in the game as a monster name.

The only link to Tri-Edge I can come up with is from the dot Hack series, it was a weapon notorious for player killing. Hence the name and entimology. Most of the weapons are based on mythology.... but I couldn't find anything for Tri-Edge.
Guttler is an axe that loves to attack, hence the pet tied to it does Attack buffs and defense down buffs - an aggressive playstyle. Onslaught is also a darkness based WS hence petribreath being stone based magic, can MB off of darkness from onslaught.
Aymur is tied to being the final driver in the mythology it comes from, Yagrush opened Aymur closed. It is also a multi hit weapon, hence the Chigoes spawning from marid and helping "drive" the damage and status ailments. Also doubles as a defensive pet granting DT and aoe healing. (Just to give BST more versatility) (Pondering peter is amazing for healing parties in lower tier content with DT and healing you could possibly be a secondary healer in higher tier content)
Tri-Edge, Aeonics were meant to be skillchain stepping weapons. I havent found any amazing uses for it other than a mantle piece saying I did all the BST REMA. But with the right jug pet like PKing Potbelly, it can be used to Step Umbral and Radiance. If you noticed It has 2 magic based TP moves, that allow BST to magic burst off of Radiance or Umbral. Based on the skillchain you are using.
