Mosaic art project

SE Announced the Mosaic Art project today http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/vanaproj/detail/mosaic.html?lng=en&rgn=us but the finished puzzle won't be available to outside of japan. SE please reconsider this, it is something I would purchase as a North America Player.

Also in the instructions it says to take off the names, but in the description it says: "We’d like adventurers the world over to send in screenshots of how they enjoy Vana’diel. Whether it’s a nostalgic screenshot from long ago or one taken from your recent adventures, send them in and we’ll be putting them together to form the mosaic"

Now I don't know about most people but when I take a screenshot I don't normally remove the names, and I know of no way other than photoshopping to remove names from old screenshots. This would likely invalidate any old nostalgic screenshot as they would likely have names.

So they want global participation, but won't allow global purchase of the contributions... Why insult the players by asking them to contribute to a product they won't be able to buy?

thats why unless thay make it available to all i wont be adding any of my photos to the pot because it would be useless because i could never get the outcome

Technically speaking, they only said they hope to make a puzzle. In the end it may just be an online image.

I'm more annoyed because yes, I can think of some older screenshots that are very meaningful, but they aren't 4:3 and they totally have names on them. :p
