Just wanted to throw my 2 cents at the devs as a player enjoying FFXI right now with one friend, but would like the experience to become smoother.

-Can we please allow trusts in BCNMs, up to the intended party limit? It's difficult to get a party of even 3 together for these (nobody seems to farm the low level ones anymore) and they aren't very solo friendly due to the level cap.

-The party member and pet experience penalty really doesn't have a place in this game anymore with Trusts offering the benefit of a full party without the exp penalty. At this point, removing the penalty would give people less reason not to group up without changing anything else about the leveling process. I know FFXI is transitioning to a more solo environment, but I don't see a great reason to discourage socializing where possible.

If nothing else, I'd really like to play with my friend (or even more than one) without being penalized for it.

-Can there be an option to continually craft until you manually stop or run out of items? I've see this shut down in other threads because it's "botting", but this isn't 2007 anymore. Other MMOs--FFXIV and WoW most notably--allow you to do this. I can't see why FFXI cannot.

-Raised Chocobo to same speed as Rental? Please?

-Trusts in Dynamis? Please?

-On that note, how about a Chocobo Care option that lets us watch the Chocobo until it runs out of stamina? (Any phase after egg, of course). Whenever I don't have enough stamina for anything else, it's very tedious to have to manually click through menus to watch over and over.

-Can Trusts work the same as party members when it comes to hate and switching targets? Something about Trusts specifically makes it so I automatically disengage as soon as I kill a mob and have to re-engage (while respecting cooldown) the next. This results in multi-pulled enemies getting a lot of free attacks and has killed me on the occasional UI malfunction.

-Possible to allow lockstyle of different weapon types than the one you have equipped? Given this isn't a PVP-oriented game, I see no harm in letting myself 'look' like I'm using my AF Great Katana as a SMN as long as I currently meet the requirements to use it on my SAM.

I'm sorry that I didn't get into this game sooner, it's wonderful. I just hope that with the Rhapsodies updates some more QoL improvements are on the way.

You should be able to fix your targeting issue by turning /autotarget on and keeping your next target in front of you, you can only autotarget enemies that your character can 'see' i.e. what you can see on screen while in first person camera, so you won't be able to autotarget everything you can see while in third person camera.

There is a reason I can see for not being able to lockstyle different weapon types; some weaponskills use normal swing animations as part (or sometimes all) of the weaponskill animation. Since different weapon types swing differently this would cause a disconnect with the weaponskill effects and the animation displayed. For example; if you were to use the sword weaponskill Burning Blade while having a dagger lockstyled, the fire effects that would normally follow behind your sword would appear in midair while your dagger swung in a completely different direction. So while there is probably no technical reason they could not implement it, I don't think it should be done because of these graphical mismatches it would create.

I'll experiment with the auto-target thing. I tend not to have problems with it automatically switching targets when it's my friend or my summon that have aggro, but it's possible it has to do with facing/positioning.
Ideally, it should auto-switch targets no matter what if you have hate and you finish off an enemy you're engaged with. Let's just say that, since this is a wish list.

You make a good point about the weapon skills.

Sorry, I just realized that the autotarget feature does not work when trusts have hate on the next target, I didn't think of it because I almost never use a tank trust but it sometimes becomes an issue when trusts use area effect abilities. So yes, this issue should probably be addressed.

Regarding the crafting. This isnt optimal but they added /lastsynth so can make a longer macro for repeating a synthesis

Regarding the crafting. This isnt optimal but they added /lastsynth so can make a longer macro for repeating a synthesis/lastsynth is great, no question. Still, I would love to see continuous crafting implemented. Crafting stacks of avatarites is so mind numbing.

Bumping to denote that I added more to the list.
