Is there any pattern to getting the waves with the NMs to spawn? Or is it 100% random?
I just got the win for Rancibus today; I got wins for the other two Vagary bosses a while ago. Luckily I have a linkshell that's pretty good at this stuff and does Vagary 2-3 times per week.
But it seems like the deck is really stacked against a lot of people here. First it seems that with all those amorphs you have no choice but to manaburn the place. Secondly you have the randomness of the spawns. Even with a lot of black mages, your chances of getting through all the mobs and getting to Rancibus on time seem awful slim.
I dunno. Seems pretty unfair for a thing you need to reforge Empyrean gear to +1 state. At least with Artifact and Relic the only thing it's gated behind is a bunch of easily soloable quests.
