Skadi Armor Set

Well, I decided to join the forums today in hopes that SE could actually add this simple idea, and probably others as time passes.

As you may have guessed from the title, I would like DNC to be added to the current Jobs on the Skadi Armor set. While your at it, SCH would probably appreciate the same for Morrigan Armor. With the eventual salvage rework, and synergy augmentation...I would feel really bummed out if DNC did not get a chance for this armor.

I can see how giving these two jobs access to the sets was previously impractical. Especially since SCH had a limited gear selection so that it could not surpass BLM. Well, now that many new gears that break these concepts have been added, I can't think of a reason not to add them to the sets.

I can only guess it would be simple to add as well!

Why? There are now faaaaar more better (and easier to obtain) gear options that beat out Skadi's when looking at use with DNC.

Simple answer is: "Why not?"

Better answer has already been stated: "With the eventual salvage rework, and synergy augmentation..."

I'm guessing from your post count you have read the threads about Salvage rework and more importantly the Synergy Augment system. The latter of which could possibly make some of the Salvage armor feasible again.

-Also I just enjoy salvage and would like to justify it more once me and my friend start doing it again.

I liked that salvage gear covers all jobs. I think it's unfair that DNC and SCH have no salvage gear available. I realize it's not the best gear right now but it's still pretty good and it might be excellent after we can upgrade it. It makes sense to me that DNC and SCH should be added to this gear.

I think there have been several oversights in the job additions:no relic weapons for pup or dnc, lots of armor that would fit both the job and the gear trends, positively miserable weapons choices for the added jobs or even some of the main jobs (my bard can't use a Kirin's Pole? really?). Honestly, they simply never went back and updated the armors to accomodate the new jobs, probably because it would be a pain in the butt to change that many files. You are right, fix it.

And as to "why bother, there is better gear now?". I may not have levelled scholar but it's on my to do list; i'll probably want some decent gear to wear while I get my AF3+2 for yet another job, and I may already have it from my old jobs I already levelled.

On that note, can you let my pup use my Ogre set? Yeah it's butt ugly but rdm can wear it and it fits for a mage with no casting abilities (and no relic for pup yet), and I think it still looks better than that level 78 cruor stuff.

I have to agree. Skadi for DNC's so-so but it'd be nice if you already have it for another job. I would love to see DNC get Mandau access and SCH maybe to get Claustrum though SCH wouldn't get as much use out of Claustrum as DNC would Mandau.
