If you hit "Learn about stone exchange services" it describes the rate of obsidian fragment trade, but the numbers are incorrect.
1 ghastly stone is not 10 fragments, but 50.
1 verdigris stone is not 20 fragments, but 100.
and so on.

Good day, Johnb,
I think I figured out the problem. The EN is a bit unclear on what exactly you are trading for what.
You ask Ornery Dhole "Learn about exchange services," at which point he tells you about two pieces of information: What the exchange rate is for turning Skirmish stone A into Skirmish stone B, and how many fragments he will give you if you trade him Skirmish stones. The EN for the second part implies the opposite.
In other words:
He will sell you a ghastly stone if you pay him fifty fragments.
He will pay you ten fragments if you trade him one ghastly stone.
In case you're interested in how this got tangled up in the translation, Japanese uses a system of counter words since you cannot use number + noun like in English. For example, all long cylindrical objects like pencils, fingers, and bottles of soda are counted using the word "-hon." In this case, both skirmish stones and obsidian fragments are counted using the word "-ko," and in such a short dialog we got one confused for the other. That's our fault!
I have adjusted the tag to make it more clear that he will give you X fragments if you give him one stone, and you should see it displaying correctly in the June version update.
Thank you for the report!

I'm sorry. You are right. I didn't read the dialogue too carefully. The NPC even says "trading stones for obsidian fragments." This thread can be locked. Thanks for the clarification.
