View Full Version : Why are the Echard/Trizek rings not always available?

In the past I could understand anniversary rings being one off items, they had 10 charges and when it was done it was done.

These new rings are infinite use, how can you not let all players get these items?

I talked some friends into coming back, they procrastinated but finally re-activated while waiting for the new expansion on xiv to come out.

Now they can't have access to the nice leveling speed that I have, can these items be made always available from conquest points or something?

I would even buy it as an optional item on a cash shop.

I would like for my friends to be able to have these rings SE. Please create some way for us to unlock these rings for new characters.

Because having items that are only available seasonally being available in a cash shop would take too much effort, unlike making items only available for limited times in the first place.

Which is why this game is supposeduly "not profitable". The effort isn't worth it to them.

I would buy this ring, trusts and other things, optional items Square. Not even hard to add.

Yeah saw that yesterday, sadly it probably won't see the light of day for a long long time.

I was hoping they could just put it back into the game sooner rather than later.

I wish they would stop putting silly low exp / cp amounts as the threshold. Id rather a ring that lasts for 1 hr, with a 24 hour reuse, as opposed to a ring that lasts for 10 pulls every 2 hrs.

So let me get this straight you rather have a ring you can only use once with a time frame of waiting til the very next day RL time before they could be used again???:confused:

If that is a serious question...then yes.

I would rather have a full 1 hour of 150% exp where i can kill as many mobs as i want and go well over the 30k cp limit. Currently it fades after ~10 kills, so i get maybe 10 minutes every 2 hours. Which is roughly 1 hour every 24 hours. I only play 1-2 hours a day, meaning im not poping the ring more then 1x per play session, and unless you have no job and play ffxi 10+ hours a day grinding, why wouldnt you want a solid 1 hr of bonus exp/cp over 10 minutes every 2 hrs. Most cp parties ive been in dont last 2 hrs.

Honestly, Myself I'd rather have last longer than just an hour for the whole day with a 24 next day reuse timer! ;) Yes, it all depends on the amount of time each player has per day we all live different lives giving us different time amounts of play. Yes i understand your time is different then mine to having play the game inside ffxi. It kind of like having all those quests, gears, and other stuff that are set upon jp midnight or pdt/pst set amount of time before you can continue in which there have been a lot of requests by people on the forums for there restrictions to be removed.

By The way Roja323(; I am a really old ffxi player and yes I have had Exp parties that used to last more then 10+ hours but remember those where the old days into leveling up jobs in ffxi until the nature of the game changed and kept on changing :P

You should of opened a new character slot on your account, then made 3 or 5 different characters on it and grabbed the rings and mailed them to yourself. Remember that for next time! I have 4 myself lol

So i can go back to my room every 10 min, mail to an alt and pick up a new ring...because thats efficient...

You use one then mail it to yourself and then take a different ring with you. After the second ring wears off go back to town and use third then take the fourth with you to exp some more. Its pretty awesome actually.
