no bee pollen

i have farmed bee's wasps around the crags for hours and still not even one pollen it this supost to be a crazy hard grind

Now you just have horrible luck. People in ls were generally getting around 10-30% droprate. I did mandies and went aroud 9/40ish (did it for 3 characters)

i killed 500+ in each of these La Theine Plateau/Konschtat Highlands/Tahrongi Canyon and not one drop
so i must be being trolled by SE because this is bs


also(i dont know if this has any thing to do with it but)
then i went and ran a file check on ffxi and file final fantasy/rom/o/3.dat is missing and recovery tool cant fix it so i reinstalled ffxi and after i updated to the latest ver its gone again

even though it says you have to kill them around the crag I could kill wasps anywhere in konsact highlands and get pollen, subbing Thf, I probably saw a ~30% drop rate, also, due to how easy they were to get and how much they initially sold for I farmed up 3-4 stk's and dropped them on the ah.

I cannot believe you killed 500+ in each of those zones, its not a 1% drop rate.

You killed a buttload of them I won't deny that and it was probably quite frustrating, The drop rate is probably 10~% without Treasure hunter based on reports... but 900 kills just seems mathematically improbable. I killed like 10 and had all 3 but I was THF main. For you to have to kill 900 of them with the current estimated drap rate of 30% would be such a statistically low possibility you would probably have better odds of winning the lottery 2 times back to back. Even with a 1% Drop rate with no TH the odds of going 3/900 are like 0.33%. 10% would make that like 0.033%, and don't get me started on 30%. And this is based on our "After 900 kills" and not "500+ of each zone" which would be over 1,500.

Yeah, the drop rate is lower than it needs to be in my opinion but even without Treasure hunter it should be about 10%, no way on the 900+.

Still, sucks, congrats on getting past it.

Its obviously not a very rare drop as you can buy them in Junes login campaign for 30 points each, meaning all 3 for less than 100 login points.
