I know that it's a long shot, but will our adventuring fellow npcs get anymore attention before the final update?

If so, will their initial stats be raised? I was fooling around leveling one of my lower level jobs and I noticed that my fellow npc was putting out far less damage than my trust npcs and she was taking a lot more damage than them as well. Mind you she's currently level 80 and using a great katana as her weapon. There's also the whole quickly depleting mp problem when set to healer or soothing healer. I tend to find that I'm stopping to heal her mp every 2-3 fights simply because she will constantly cast blink and stoneskin while outside of battle.

Also, I've asked this several times in other threads, but will we likely see additions to the armors that they wear? I would love to be able to equip my fellow npc with post CoP gear, especially some of the adoulin gear. Heck, would it even be possible to allow us to equip them the way puppetmasters equip their automatons?

And last but not least, will we ever be allowed to take them into some of the areas that they are currently restricted from entering? I find it unfair that we can take our trust npcs almost anywhere, but our fellow npcs still have silly restrictions on them.

Don't get me wrong, I love the whole trust system, I just wish that our fellow npcs got the same amount of love and attention that the trust ones get.

Fellow NPC seems to be lower priority, given that completing Rhapsodies will allow you to summon 5 Trusts, meaning you won't have a slot for the fellow.

Will it be another 2 trust? I thought it was only one extra so I was hoping we could get some Fellow updates. Mainly being able to enter the same zones as trust, a stat boost and having the same recovery rates as NPC outside of battle.

They said that as of the May update, completing content would unlock a 4th Trust slot, and that a later content patch will make a 5th Trust available.

Progressing through the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions will enable players to call forth up to four alter egos simultaneously.
* This limit is scheduled to be increased further in subsequent version updates.

I see. Then I guess Fellows probably wont get updates anymore.

The latest version update increased the stats under the item level environment. Adventuring Fellows are created in a unique way, therefore, a lot of work would be required to apply adjustments to them. We’re currently prioritizing development resources on Rhapsodies of Vana’diel, so we can’t promise we will make adjustments to Fellows; however, we’ll look into this request if time allows.

Does this mean Monstrosity will also not be finished?

Death to Monstrosity! It scares the little children.

I do remember this update, but it took me a while until I actually got my fellow to level 99.

When I did though, I can't say I noticed any difference. Perhaps they take a bit less damage they would otherwise, and might have more HP than before (they still run out of MP pretty quick though), but they deal damage quite a bit less than I do.

It would be horrible if no more adjustments would come their way, but at least there was this (somewhat recently even!):

We expanded the content that allows alter egos to be called forth. It’s now possible to use alter egos in the newly added high-tier avatar battles, Delve, Incursion, and Eco-warrior.

We made adjustments to the use delay, reuse delay, and max charges for both the Signal Pearl and Tactics Pearl making it easier to summon adventuring fellows.

We’re aware of all of the various requests for adventuring fellows that have been posted, but we wanted to first make adjustments so that they could be utilized more easily.

We’ll be looking into adjustments for other facets of adventuring fellows for the future.
While all of that is awesome, the two last sentences in particular warm up my heart. :]

Perhaps not all of hope is lost yet!

I still call my adventuring fellow more often than alter egos (I don't quite trust the latter), and definitely have more fun with them.

Thank you!
