1st Account: Was unable to log in since April 10th.
2nd Account: Unable to log in since April 12th.
Received FFXI Codes 3001 on both accounts now.
On April 10th, was teleporting from Jeuno to Ru'Ann Gardens and in the middle of it, one would would normally get a black screen with "downloading data" on the lower right corner of the screen. Though, this time it was taking longer than usual and then received a msg stating "FFXI Code:3001, timed out from the FFXI server". So i turned off my xbox 360, turned it back on and tried to log on to my main account, as i tried to log in, same black screen of death.
I tried:
Friday: Square Enix Chat Support, though they just told me to contact my ISP and make sure the necessary ports were open. Barely caught them on time since it was 4:50pm and they shut down @ 5pm... and it was on a Friday.
Friday: Called my ISP to make sure everything was in order, which IT WAS!
Saturday/Sunday: Attempted to log in multiple times but no success.
Sunday: Tried to uninstall FFXI and reinstalled after 12 WHOLE HOURS....
Sunday: Still no success to log into main account.
Sunday Evening: Decided to play my second account and up until an hour before typing this, tried to go into Abyssea La Theine and received the black screen of death... Error Code 3001.
I plan to call Square Enix, first thing tomorrow morning and whatever they do, I'll make sure to mention it on here that way anyone who is having the same issue can hopefully follow too.
I started to receive issues while playing this game ever since the April Update, was laggy, unable to /search, would go to an A.H. and would take forever to load and then get an error msg on the list of items.
I really hope they are able to fix the issues and not delete my characters, which would totally suck! haha
