Hello, dearest ffxi devs :) I've been working alot on my fellow lately and have been enjoying the storylines. It would be neat if you would add a RoE achievement for those of us who have put in alot of work in lvling our fellow. The exp/sparks bonuses are nice granted but what about if you lvl your fellow to max lvl you get a timer reduction on signal pearl?
And i dont want to have a RoE achievement every 5 lvls but maybe 3 times along the path of fellow excellence :)
I'm sure this would inspire many others to undertake these quests.

This totally fits in with the idea of RoE and I agree. Add it!

There are currently no plans for adding Records of Eminence objectives for Adventuring Fellows, but we’ll consider looking into this request.

What about having job points given out for adventure fellows eventually?? Might be a bonus partnership into working with trusts out too. o.O??

Late Edit after a few posts after it: I just wanted to add that there are few timers-{?block's?} for completing the fellow storylines that could be adjusted since there seem to be a lot of folks having wanted those types of adjustments in other stuff, other areas in the game. The other thing is I tend to forget what weapon or armor piece I have traded for an upgrade to have my fellow use. It would nice to have a way in game to find out last weapon/armor piece traded.

Also some fine tuning to use them in various area's as wildskeeper reives, cp camp areas, delve, etc, maybe even can be adjusted to sync to the I-lvl weapon or gear a player has equipped or maybe someway to be able to trade the I-lvl gears and weapons to an adventure fellow after matching some certain requirements to be at higher abilities of use to have them more-less be a higher sustainable usable trusts for the some of the area's mentioned. If they can be added to be called more places as well...

I think this is a great idea^^

Anything that encourages new players to experience the Fellowship storyline, is a very good thing indeed. Anyone who hasn't tried the Adventuring Fellow system is really missing out on some of the best content in the game, imho.

:)

Ha, it's funny that this thread just happened to get started after I finally got around to starting the fellow questlines the last couple of days (just finished the quest to get my fellow.) And I agree that the fellows should really be greatly expanded on. They're so much more personal than trusts, with how we get to design them ourselves, and how much more lively they seem to be. I designed a female Taru fellow (Cupapa) and gave her the naive personality because I figured it would help brighten up my solo experience in a comic relief sort of way, and I wasn't disappointed when I finally brought her out (aside from her getting clobbered after fighting a few lost souls, due to her constantly provoking, heh.) I've really been enjoying the story parts so far, and I definitely plan to finish them. If a few advantages could be added for finishing up the quests and leveling up our fellow, that would really sweeten the deal and we'd probably start to see more people using them. Heck, if it was up to me, I'd reserve the 5th trust slot specifically for fellows (after removing their timers and upgrading them to be on par with trusts) but I imagine that idea wouldn't get the best reception from much of the community that hasn't leveled them yet. Like you said though, people are missing out on not doing them.

Long story short, +1 to this idea and any other improvements to them!
