You remember the last time you grouped up for old fashioned EXP parties?

Well I suppose you realized that you get less experience in those than you would solo.

Summoning a trust gives us party members that don't drain any exp, rest automatically out of combat, can be resummoned for full restoration, and don't ever complain.

When you invite a party member though, you get that old fashioned EXP penalty designed to make soloing more rewarding than grouping.

Well now soloing is the only thing really worth doing, unless your book burning in places like gusgen and delkfutt on a level sync.

This penalty applies directly to the experience you get from killing a mob, and I think after how many updates this game has had, this penalty should be reversed into a bonus.

We should get bonus experience for leveling in a party, this would encourage more people to actually want to engage in group content again. Some of the best experiences in this game were in a party.

While there's already plenty of group content in this game to enjoy at the end game it would be nice if we can go through the grind with other people.

Since trusts have absolutely no impact on experience gain, they are effectively neutral, by giving us experience bonus's for being in a group, we would be more encouraged to grab a full party and take down mobs.

This experience bonus should only apply to the mob itself of course, not RoE or FoV/GoV, the reason for this is who really wants to get into a group if your just going to book burn pages on easy prey's? Sure you can still do this but I feel the old fashioned system of taking on Tough+ mobs for exp chains has kind of been lost.

Reversing the exp penalty from grouping could give people more alternatives for leveling aside from just solo to level 30 then abyssea.

Alliances serve a different purpose so the exp penalty there shouldn't really be changed.
