The format of log window timestamps has been adjusted.
That's great. How about adding seconds to the timestamp, as well as adding timestamps to every line instead of just chat?

Cat!
Filler, filler, filler, 'cause the editor said my message was too short. Lol

Timestamps display the time when an action or communication reaches the client. For this reason, depending on the connection speed, the displayed timestamp between players will vary. For example, if Player A uses cure on Player B, there is a possibility that the time displayed for that cure for Player A and Player B may be different by a few seconds.
For this reason, displaying the seconds will result in different times, so we currently have no plans to display seconds in the timestamps.

Just add a disclaimer then enable seconds; problem solved.

It was a nice break, but we're back to no plans land.
I'm only kidding, but thanks Grekumah, that's unfortunate.

Yes and if the time is 1:59:59 and there's a 1 second delay then the other person will get 2:00. Same issue. Who cares. Timestamp is basically worthless without the second indicator even if it's off between clients.

Well that's that for the seconds, I guess. Any word on getting it for all actions instead of just chat? Thanks for looking into it for me, Grekumah.

this isn't really that important. Timestamps are for one's own reference, so it doesnt matter that there's a minor discrepancy.

Many will certainly argue that the positive outweighs the negative by a gargantuan amount in this case.
I believe due to different amounts of lag between machines there are already a lot of things that differ between players, things which have more impact by far when compared to what the timestamps show to one and the other.
Have them optional, off by default, and this “problem” should be solved. The many will be happy. ^^
Please do make plans in the near future towards displaying seconds in the timestamps.
Thanks!

Third party tools can do it. You can too.

I know right? Someone will screen shot themselves claiming KA and there will be a 1 second difference between his screen shot and someone else's screen shot.... and then the rioting will begin. People will flood the street in protest. Businesses will be burned to the ground. The army will have to come in and stop it, but it will be too late. The swarms of die hard PS2 players will have become too big to contain. They will overthrow the government. None of them will agree on how to manage it. Chaos will ensue. The entire island will erupt into civil war.....
Or you know... Probably nothing will happen.

After considering your feedback regarding adding seconds to timestamps, the development team will begin working on implementing this feature. However, as mentioned previously, please be aware that there may be a few seconds of discrepancy between clients.

As long as that disclaimer is there, it'll be ok Grekumah. This is not something that will be used for coordination. The game clock is used for coordination because it comes directly from the server.

Thank you. It is quite nice when the dev team responds to user feedback positively.

Even negative feedback is better than no feedback at all.
