View Full Version : At least give Ochain and Aegis iLvl 119

Hello SE,

Could you at least consider making Ochain and Aegis at minimum iLevel 119?

Don't put any other extra buffs on it except making it iLvl 119.

Could you at least do that? Having a 99/95/90 Aegis/Ochain is killing our iLvl! Why must Paladin suffer iLvl 117 when all other jobs can go as iLvl 119?

Sure, we can substitute the Aegis/Ochain for an actual iLvl 119 shield such as Priwen. While you're at it, let's substitute a Porsche for a Chevy. No, don't stop there. Substitute the Queen Mary for a Chinese junk. I think you take my meaning.

Well, looking at the avg Ilvl stat in the status menu, it looks like shields don't count towards avg ilvl.

Looks like only Main,head,body,hands,legs, and feet count. After messing with things a bit, the only time I can get my shield to affect my ilvl is when I'm not wearing a wep in main first. Which isn't terribly relevant.

Hmmm... I just checked myself. They may have ninja patched it. I do remember checking weather our shields reduce our average item level. All my other gear was iLvl 119 except for my Aegis/Ochain and the iLvl was 117.

When they released the whole average ilvl thing they specifically said only mainhand weapon and the 5 visible armors would be counted sub slot wouldn't

What's interesting is, that it Does count... IF you aren't wearing a wep in the main hand. Can raise my Ilvl avg by equipping priwen when Main slot is empty. But as soon as you equip a main, whatever lvl, sub gets ignored.

But since you NEVER don't wear a main hand wep, this is largely irrelevant. Just interesting.
