Ok so I realize that SE is only giving us 2 content ID's free for march. Cool i can handle that and am grateful.
So tonight im partying in Aby - La Thiene and I get kicked out of FFXI, but lets me reconnect. Only to see my main and first mule ever made deactivated, but the last 2 mules and ID;s purchased, were kept active. Wouldnt you think they would keep the 2 ID's that have been active since 03 active and cancel the last 2 activated 2 years ago? Really kind of irritated me since I cant even reactivate for over an hour.

my account did the same thing.. but whats even worse is i was fighting Glavoid for the last 2 Glavoid shells for my Twashtar i needed when this happened.. And it says all content ID that you payed for in March are to be free in April.

i know i read, was hoping the GM who moved would see this one. As i said in that thread, the oddest thing is, my fiance and i us the same bank account, same CC number, and reactivated the same time. I lost my content ID's but can access PoL When she tries, it gives her the unpaid fee's message and she cant even access PoL. There is definitly a billing issue here.

Same happened to me. Said "Your account has been closed due to unpaid fees resulting from declined authorization on your credit card. You can reactivate your account by paying these fees with a valid card. Pay fees now? (LM-21)"
What unpaid fees? >=O
This is very annoying. My other char got charged for the expansion i bought 2 days ago (it was expected) and it is still fine. There is balance available (Plenty i might add) on the Debit Card.

I have the same issue. Back on the 2nd week of march I bought all 3 of the Abyssea and I have more then enough funds on my CC to cover that and few monthly fees and yet my account just got closed due to unpaid fees :/ And my husband lost his ID's on his account :(

thats the the thing my account isnt closed i just dont have content IDs activated, AND i have 2 charges from SE on my bank account. 1 for 12.95 and 1 for 13.95. When both of the accounts on my card should be 14.95. This really is rather odd.

I can tell you this much:
My husband checked his cc statement this morning and nothing went through on his card. Not his march payment and not my 3 xpacks. My account got closed, his just lost his ID's. My account was created back in March so I was on the 30 day free trial (started over again). So at the least, his march fee should have went through and my 3 xpack and yet nothing shows up on his cc and there is more then enough funds to cover it. I'm pretty annoyed at the moment as this should have not happened, but it SE....
And now we can't even reactive or put cc information in because the servers are still down. I have a feeling also that a lot of the people who are missing ID's are going to get nailed in May for April fees because SE thinks them people are just reactivating their accounts in April.

We will all be screwed come May billing yes. I am waiting to reactivate my IDs because they were deactivated for some reason, so sure will be double charged again in may. Course they didnt mind taking my reactivation fees & addon fees for March but it is SE after all.
WTF does SE really want a class action law suite here?

I got deactivated as well, but had been deactivating my account a few times in the last several months to do the 'pay back later' method. I had been charged for both Februrary & March back at the start of March which I expected, but then when I went to log onto XI today, BAM, IDs canceled
Today's really the first time I was going to really do anything on XI today and then this happens, awesome! I guess at the least I haven't been charged yet...

Y'know, as much as it sucks that I can't play FFXI because they canceled my Content IDs, at least I can come here and get the full flavor of morons I would get waiting in Port Jeuno.
Class action lawsuit? Really? For what, pray tell? Really, I'd like an answer to that.
What damages have you incurred by this? Especially in light of the fact that we are not being billed for April.

This might actually force people to pay for April and more to fix what SE did to the accounts.

Ever heard of empathy? Time is priceless at least it is for me. This will be a huge waste of time. Like many others, I don't care about the free month, "promise" which has been broken the first day of the new month. Considering SE has virtually no customer service, or method of real human contact is unacceptable. Perhaps you are content with a substandard service, but I will not stand for it. I hav entered into a contractual agreement with SE through membership, and SE has not honored that contract, not to mention financial and emotional damages. A contract is a contract. Very Simple. Read your User Agreement Ahana, and stop the childish name calling. This is now a professional matter. If you call people you don't know names perhaps you should reevaluate yourself.

Oh, I have plenty of empathy. But threatening a class action lawsuit for uncompensated downtime is, frankly, moronic. Sorry if you don't like the term. You seriously need to brush up on tort law if you think that you are guaranteed access to their servers. I strongly suggest that *you* go read the User Agreement. Specifically, the PlayOnline Member Agreement, section 3.2 (d)
(d) SEI MAY SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR DELETE ANY PLAYONLINE ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME, WITH ANY REASON OR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE.
Stop being stupid. There is absolutely no case to be made against SE in a court over this. Vote with your feet and wallet, that is your ONE and ONLY recourse. If you think differently, you are wrong.

just an update. after posting I realized something. I canceled my IDs on February 27th. I reactivated on March 25th. Normally in a case like this for 2 IDs I be charged 27.90 but was only charged 13.95. So I think SE did wave my april fee and I just paid for March. From what I've read though sounds like other people have different issues and I hope they all can be resolved.

All this aside, SE can do whatever they want with your account. You agreed to it, a lawsuit will be tossed out in a heartbeat.
