Am I supposed to charm or use jugs? ...which is it? This is very confusing! Are you going to be adding more charmable mobs to support this? Does charm even help jug pets???

They're trolling us. This is their method to make bst a stronger DoT DD by making out charm last longer. Unfortunately, the things we fight are nowhere near anything we can charm, and all the mobs we can charm and lower that us. Actually, I did manage to charm a few L126 rabbits in WoH gates when I was experamenting with soloing worms.

I'm hoping that Beastmaster Artifact/Relic +4 armor takes into consideration their role as a frontline DD. Please remove Charm completely (or combines them into 1 piece as "Charm+50", similar to Steal for THF)....and then demonstrat your vision of Beastmaster as frontline DD.
As it stands today, Beastmaster is very uncomfortable to play with a 7-yalm restriction for varying size monsters. (Commands execute inconsistently). I really hope we are pleasantly surprised by Artifact/Relic+4.
Perhaps we will even be able to Charm monsters that were not previously charmable? ...No, that is just wishful thinking.

Removing charm completely would be a huge slap in the face imo.
yes, they have systematically nerfed charm for over 10 years.
Its a difficult mechanic to "baransu" for a game which gets updated. anytime there is a new zone, or new mob placement, you must consider how that mob is used as a weapons instead of only and challenge and obstacle to players.
I don't agree with it, but I think this is why charm has been nerfed. I think the balance of charm was well built-in from the beginning. It wears off and the monster tries to eat your face. That's a wonderful counterbalance to the power of the ability.
I would much rather the level caps of pets be removed, so that AmigoSabotender and others can actually reach the same level as other pets. We actually lose options and abilities as BST and we level up. that's really sad.
