Hello, I just wonder if anyone else having this issue on Leviathan server. I have no problem to log in with PC, but it is just not working on xbox360.

oh, I have played this game for more than 7 years and I played yesterday and there was no such issue

I am also having this issue, I play on 360 also and I asked my friend on my friend list who also plays on 360 and they can't get on either, I'm getting Error Code Pol 006. I think this is a problem with everyone who is playing on XBOX 360, please help us square enix :(

I'm having the exact same problem as everyone else in this thread. I'm playing on the Xbox 360 and I can get onto POL just fine, but when I attempt to go past the main POL screen to the game itself I get a POL-0006 error.

Yes i log in earlier today fine bit once i log out it gave me error . And now that i try to log in again same thing. Error Code POL 0006. And its not my internet because all other stuff is connecting fine......

I'm having the same problem. Getting the 006 error message when I try to start FFXI, but I can log into POL just fine. Logging into the same account on PC works fine, just Xbox gets the error.

I would appreciate a notice that SE is trying urgently to fix this, either on PlayOnline Viewer and/or on here. At the moment I had to search forums for any information in regards to this issue. I am on xbox 360 as well and can't do my morning stuffs.
Since there were no updates since most of us last logged in between xbox 360 or ffxi/playonline, there should be no reason this issue is happening, aside from xbox 360 having server lag issues, which would prevent this issue from being fixed by Square Enix at all.
Yep xbox360 and I can not log in.

Yup still having issues. can log in to POL but can't get any farther. POL-0006 error. knowing its not on my end with modem or router it's definitely related to Microsoft.

I'm really annoyed that this issue has not been addressed or acknowledged by SE, let alone fixed yet.

What I want to know is what happened between last night and this morning that caused this? Something had to have been chanced on SE's side or Microsoft's side.

Same POL- 0006 Error here on XBOX. Playstation platform works fine, Alienware Laptops work just fine. Can log into XBox live just not into FFXI. Someone needs to address this and let us know what's going on and where the problem is.

according to SE the problem is with microsoft. i havent finished talking to microsoft support yet. hopefully i will be able to tell yall something when im done

Well I thought I was the only one with the problem, apparently not... Seems that they are investigating it, hopefully its resolved soon. Xbox 360, pol 0006 error since about 8-9pm on Oct 29th cst, USA. My isp is Att uverse, and my server is Asura. Looks like its affecting a few players... Guess I will go do laundry or something until its fixed :(

more than a few players, its all xbox players across all servers. from what i have been told by support from both se and microsoft, the microsoft servers arent on speaking terms with SE atm, or vice versa which is why xbox is the only console affected. why that is, i have no idea.

Umm... Well maybe SE has Upset Microsoft.. Since they didnt wanna openlatform for 14...... And decided to just pull the plug on 11 as well.... I really hope this was not the case since i mostly play it on xbox.......

nah, im sure its just a glitch somewhere. microsoft would lose business if that was the case. all we can do is cross our fingers and hope they get this figured out quickly

Thank you Grekumah for your reply. Could you please keep us updated every day since it's affecting game play which should be at the top of your priority list. My friend and I have 5 accounts affected and we would not give in and change to PC (simply not enuf PC). Thank you again and sorry for the trouble.

Do we have any updates? Have you figured out what changed either on SE's end or Microsoft's end to cause the problem. This seems to be an extremely massive problem, yet the website has no updates or even acknowledgements of the problem.

Spoke to Microsoft for over an hour today after chatting with SE and made no headway... However I did get a free month of XBox gold!

it appears to be a login in issue and only part way it comfirms ur user and pass and u can use most pol features just wont let u load the game but its not kicking already logged in users out not effecting pc users my brother can login in the same house

This issue is getting ridiculous. We have paid the same money to play that the PC users paid. My PC is antique and the graphics card will not support FFXI. And I've been using a game console to play for over 10 years now.
Whatever the problem between Microsoft and SE needs to be dealt with. This is SOOO frustrating!

SE says its microsoft, microsoft says there is no way it could be them. im a blunt person and if SE dont like it tough balls. somebody needs to buck up and actually find the problem. i spent an hour in chat with both SE and microsoft and neither was particularly helpful. all i got told was "its a known issue and we are investigating it" or "its not our fault, we did everything we could to resolve the issue". as much as i hate to say it, microsoft was actually more helpful since they actually tried to do something about the problem.
