I did a list awhile back. Some of the things, I'd still like to see, while others have already happened. I don't play all the jobs regularly, so if I miss one of your favorites, it's more or less because I don't play it enough to know.

JA: Reviviscence - (RC: 5; Dur: Instant). - Removes weakness from target party member.

Spells:
Apathy - Removes the Status Effect Charm
Extract - Removes the Status Effect Amnesia

Well the COR roll already exists; it's called Blitzer's roll. However no one uses it because it lowers delay, which lowers tp gain, and sams don't like their 4 hits being messed with. If they changed it so the roll gave job haste instead of reducing delay it wouldn't be so bad. Although it would be pretty bad for dancer as their haste samba would not be as desired. Also what ever happened to giving COR a third roll?

I'm actually pretty surprised that ninja doesn't have a silence ninjutsu already. Frankly I can't think of a reason not to give ninja silence either.

For THF there always seems to be talk about giving it more control over enmity both from the devs and players. A hate reset move would be very handy. I don't like the name you picked though. Also I feel it should do something other than just put the hate on another party member. That's pretty useless since the only time hate is hard to hold is when mobs spam hate reset moves in which case the thief wouldn't have any hate to give either. My suggestion is that the move resets enmity for the user and applies a damage taken debuff on the target, sort of like the damage taken that rancor collar gives. I say a 5 minute recast, 50% damage taken that degrades every tick for 30 seconds. Also it's really about time accomplice and collaborator got their own timers.

As for thieves and marksmanship I would like to see more thieves with crossbows running around. Right now there is one 119 crossbow, one 119 gun, and one weaponskill thieves can use. Neither of them is particularly astounding. Really you are just better off with something in your ammo slot like Yetshila for the crit damage, unless something better come along. The only time I could see is if you needed to get around a particular mechanic like with Muyingwa.

The thing that would be the biggest boon to the game is something they would probably never add.

A group finder system. Not a dungeon finder but a automated group builder.

Reason most solo stuff like bcnms is because it's easier and less hassle, if you could do stuff while a group system made a group for you many more would group up.

Heck I've been back for a few months now and I still haven't grouped up for anything outside of WKR, I just can't be bothered and gear up with alts/friends I came back with instead of interacting with the community. If there was some kind of automated group finder I'd probably do so.

Which is why I listed the dice roll the same way as the description used in Marches. People spend HOURS shouting for BRD, and if they could get a substitute then I'm all about it. Also, I'm going to add the third dice roll, I like that a lot (And I'll give you credit for bringing it up. :3)

The name is workable, I was making this ability to go with Accomplice and Collaborator. I also had an idea for a JA that drop Enmity to 0 in exchange for attack power or a critical attack, Maybe call Abstraction

I had mentioned it before in the THF Forum, But THF has the exact same skill in Marksmanship that SAM gets in Archery, and they get access to Last Stand. I don't remember if Sneak Attack works with Ranged attacks or not, but it does work with WS, right? As does, Trick Attack, so THF could get their own version of Decoy Shot, and help fight things that otherwise need to be killed at a distance.

Well I don't know if I deserve credit for the idea as it was the devs idea (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/11485-FINAL-FANTASY-XI-Job-Adjustment%EF%BD%93-Manifesto) back in 2011. They also mention giving warriors the ability to change damage types, and a spell for white mages that removes charm. Then again they also said they would add atomos back then too and are only added that in the last update. Maybe those will be in the November update.

As for marksmanship I think comparing thf and marksmanship to sam and archery is pretty on the mark. Neither job is going to tp with their ranged weapon, but there are cases when they would use the weaponskill for a different damage type. However dagger and marksmanship are both piercing so it would only matter for when it needs to be ranged like with Muyingwa as I mentioned before. The only other way it could deal another type of damage is if thf got wildfire. Which I wouldn't mind if it did, but I'm not holding my breath for that. Other than that it would be nice if there was a crossbow with stats that thf liked. Cibitshavore gives sam 7 store tp and 12 strength. That has to be at least worth giving thf a crossbow with +5% crit damage and some dex.

The substitute to march already exist, it's called ind-haste. Haste2+ haste samba from DNC can also get haste quite close to march result. Whoever /shout for BRD for 2hr just for march and refuse to change setup is doing it wrong.....I just joined a garuda N pt and the leader insist that it's 100% wipe without a BRD, took me a while to convince him that it's clear-able with 5 ppl without a BRD - -.

As for the 3rd roll, honestly I'd rather want a COR dmg buff or potency increase instead of spending more time doing rolls for different ppl. So thanks but no thanks.

And yet people do it on a daily basis. They could just as well take a SMN, RDM, GEO, or COR, but people don't. Giving people more option isn't a bad thing.
