I'm sure many players out there are as fond of Abysseas' Atmas as I do. However, Atmas only accessible in Abysseas and I really hope SE can in some ways to expand such interesting features into a full time obtainable features.

How many people would like the idea of allowing Atmas to be augmented onto weapons/armors/accessories through completing quests or through craftings???

I would like to ask the entire FFXI players community to support this by clicking on the new "LIKE" button to show SE how much do we want to have this developed. Please join me and show the interest level through the power "LIKE" statistic!

Uhhhhhhhhhhh. I don't think its possible to Augment an Atma to ... Anything from a programming stand-point. i mean yeah you could just augment DEX+50 Critical hit Damage+30% Critical Hit Rate +30% on something in theory but...

Being able to use atmas/Abyssites outside of Abyssea would be neat, But i think those things are what makes Abyssea unique. Even the storyline-flavor states they're mostly worthless outside Abyssea and for Abyssean residents, but for us outsiders inside Abyssea, they have some effects.

So it wouldn't make sense from any standpoint. I think those things make abyssea unique, and are designed to remain there on purpose.

I genuinely hope that ATMA's stay in Abyssea and NEVER make their way outside.

If they were to be put into the rest of the world, I would at least tone their effects down a bit. Maybe if you could only have two atma-like effects on at the same time, and they weren't more than half as powerful as they generally are in abyssea.

Oh of course, they should be separate from abyssea atmas.

Atma effects inside abyssea are fine... but why further gimp outside areas by making fairly easy stuff even easier?

Actually, using the abyssea storyline, atma should do the very opposite to us after being brought outside. Us adventurers get stronger when we enter their dimension, they get weaker when they enter our's.

The two are complete opposites. -50 DEX -10% Critical Rate and all that shit ftw.

I agree with this. They would be negated. So basically PDT - gear becomes PDT+ Slow becomes Haste Haste becomes Slow, Enmity - becomes Enmity + and vice versa. Sure it means 90% of atma would NEVER be used outside of abyssea but a few will, such as Atma of the Sea Daughter 5TP per tick loss is not bad on a mage and people already use poison effect gear as it is. But making that Slow into a Haste would make many mages rejoice.

And to make this slightly more interesting make it so a random set of these Atma are automatically activated for us in specific events such as PvP and maybe a new event similar to MMM.
