Stuck in <Downloading Data> screen

Details: After the first time i got stuck in <Downloading Data> screen by zoning into Tavnazia Safehold via HP, i can't play anymore. Every time i log in ans select my character (Bahamut: Flareon) i get stuck in the black screen with the only information available being <Downloading Data>.

Steps:
1. Zoned from Ru'Lude Gardens #1 HP to Tavnazia Safehold HP#1.
2. Got stuck into the <<Downloading Data>> black screen for more than a minute.
3. Exited the game while still in the black page
4. Loged in several times
5. Got stuck into the same page all the times.

Same here cant log in, stuck on downloading then get error.

I've had this issue in the past. Sometimes you stumble across someone calling Customer Support who is kind enough to move your character. Usually they'll tell you there is nothing they can do though :/. What worked for me was to login in on another machine with a different IP address. I was told by someone in SE Customer Support that my character got stuck transitioning servers but they weren't allowed to move it. Logged in on another machine worked just fine to unstick myself.
