Great that we can enter Nyzul Isle without 2+ others, but what's the point when you hit a floor that wants all lamps activated at the same time and they're 2 mins apart from each other? Don't think SE thought this through properly enough since this still isn't soloable.

They did think it through. The update it happened they flat out stated that while the entry requirements were being lowered the content itself was not changing and was NOT garuanteed to be soloable.

It's a trade off.

So what's the point then? I just wasted a tag. If you're gonna make entry to something that a single person can enter then why not make it soloable? What was the point in lowering the entry requirement if it's not gonna be soloable anyways? It's a pointless modification that may as well not have been altered and the effort gone into something more useful.

The point is, you pays your money (tag) you takes your chances.

Like I said, a trade off. People demanded solo entry for years. They got it. But the risk of failure is higher.

Another way to look at it, be careful what you wish for, you might get it.

People demanded solo because nobody else gives a damn about normal Nyzul since they got floor 100 registered. This is just punishment for those who were unlucky to not have gotten neo Nyzul unlocked yet.

Personally I rather have a chance to solo Nyzul than having none at all, and considering I've advanced 10 floors without issues I'd say it's working well.

The point is that if you don't hit those floors you can go through Nyzul solo if you want. When I wanted to learn Mandalic Stab a few months ago, I didn't have to beg 2 other people for help. I got it on my own. And I failed 2 runs because of the lamps but on the third there were no lamps and I made it.

TBH, back in the days a party couldn't even advance 5 Floors. I think it's to keep a level pf difficulty. I wouldn't say is fair. But that's life sometimes, for ya. Just keep on going.

Just in case you didn't know you don't need to beat normal nyzul to get neo nyzul... and now any floor registered on your disc counts as floor 100 in terms of number of WS needed to unlock mythic weaponskills

So, I don't think there is a lot of point to solo normal nyzul anymore unless you are making a mythic.

I mean yeah floor 100 makes getting a desired weapon drop easier - but you can get them on other floors too.
