I wouldn't think so, despite considering how awesome that would be.

I doubt it, finishing moves so far as I know are fine as they are, the problem with steps were to my knowledge that DNC has to increase the level of a step to get more than one finishing move which means you have to constantly cycle every type of step or you begin to lose finishing moves. With an increase to the max level you can increase the potency of important steps for the situation while also allowing DNC to continue getting their full finishing move amount every time they use a step.
Now, if they would just remove the JA Delay that holds back DRG & DNC they might just be powerful jobs... <_<;

Its pretty neat still... Means a DNC could give about an additional ~10% Critical hit rate and -23% DEF down on the target with Flutter/Box.
I know its no BRD or GEO but its in addition to such things. none-the-less pretty nice for long fights if you ever go as DNC... idk.. if anyone does

What would make dnc awesome is to set climactic flourish's timer to 30 seconds.

And add a double / triple attack samba.
Or maybe a samba that gives -damage taken to melees
or an ability that takes the next step to level 5 on a 2 minute timer
It's great that we can get these higher debuffs now, but the work it takes to get them there is sorta prohibitive. A missed step or a paralyze or blind etc. and you've lost it all.
