Did you seriously think just raising the enmity cap would fix the problem? We all knew it wouldn't, and we told you as much, but you went ahead and did it anyway.

The enmity system is still broken. The only thing raising the cap did was to give the tanks a few (very few) seconds before everyone capped enmity.

As we have said before, to fix enmity there must be a way to reduce enmity, other than being hit. I have made a post before about one such solution. Add a job trait to paladin so that depending on how much they cure enmity is removed from the PC they cure, except for the paladin, of course.

Think about it, devs. There are may ways to fix the enmity system and we have given you very good feedback, but it's up to you to listen.

Im pretty sure they didnt raise the cap...? They just doubled the +Enmity cap you can get from gear from 100 to 200... I might have read it wrong since I cared very little.

"Enmity+" cap increase
To coincide with the addition of Crusade that increases enmity, we increased the maximum value for the "Enmity+" effect from equipment and spells.

You're right. So, they really did almost nothing to address enmity.

No you're right that's all they did. I waited for someone else to bring this up instead of me. I get tried of blasting the Devs right away when an enmity update comes out and it doesn't do shit to change the problem so I let someone else do it this time.

DEVS, you need to do some actual testing on the test server for the love of Christ PLEASE! If you cant figure it out commission Martel or Dasva to help you, its clear at this point you have no idea how the system works and that's fine. Its Insanity that what you continue to focus on in enmity generation and how quickly it occurs. Its been what 3-4 enmity adjustments and still no results. In fact you make significant backward progression aka removing rune enmity wtf are you kidding me why? At this point I believe drastic measures are in order. Give each of the 3 tank jobs a hate locking ja please its long over due.

Think a good way to artificially "Fix" tanking would be to cut enmity generation for everything by 90%.

I.E if it gives 1000CE/VE Pre-update, post it will give 100ce/ve... effectively multiplying the "Enmity cap" by 900% or so... I think thats long enough for any fight to be finished before cap is reached >_>
