Is she just a magic attack buff? She doesn't do anything during battle. She just stands there looking worried and appears to sometimes pray.

Yah. Says so on the main trusts page right here on our very own official forums. She grants a Magic Attack bonus, similar to how Sakura and Moogle just grant bonuses and don't fight. She apparently also gives magic accuracy as well.

Thank you, Karbuncle.

I thought for sure they'd make her a summoner though, disappointed she's not...by the by are they going to/do they have any summoner trusts? I'd like to know so I can maybe work on unlocking them.

That'd be very contradictory, her secret hush hush boyfriend Karaha-Baruha summoned, she strongly forbid it and urged people to never summon again. Even in their weaker, non-celestial state.

Bah...wait is that why no summoner trusts? Because "storywise" it's forbidden? Is that going to be the reason for no dragoon trusts? Because "storywise" there are no more? :(

Beastmaster trust doesn't have pets either, they're scared of standing on peoples shoes. Apart from PUPs.. apparently.. because there are trust automatons.

That being said, Karaha Baraha would make a good trust, stands along side of Fenrir, doesn't really melee but can cure a bit. Would be nice.

There could be other Summoner NPCs, theres one in (S) who has an Ifrit, but you have to remember no "Pet job" Trust has an actual pet that isn't a separate summon... so a SMN trust with an avatar was an unrealistic expectation to begin with. That said, Summoning Magic is adamantly against the Sibyls beliefs as Balloon explained, shes also a complete pacifist so combat is against her beliefs. If theres one thing that I think should cling to lore, its Trusts.

As far as K-B With Fenrir, also very unlikely... again, no trust has pets, and adding a "Fenrir" trust would be crapping on SMN, regardless of control. See: SE not giving Dragons to BST.

But on that note, K-B does melee, he's a SMN/RDM apparently, you'll find that out when you beat Windurst(S) Storyline.

:< Automaton Trusts! (I am so bitter about that.)

Windy's quests seem so cool, I did Sandoria.. bunch of kids whining and dying and whining.

Only whining cause the adults don't give them enough credit. Also that death is why one of them goes loopy later.

Blah part of the reason why there are no more dragons is because the wyverns all went crazy except for the one we the player gets.

Eh I suppose it would be weird and wrong anyway I mean they crap all over our pets just imagine what they'd do to the poor trusts' pets.

for thoes wondering why we can call Ovjang and Mnejing (the automation's) as trusts it is because as you go through the Treasures of Aht Urhgan story line you find out that thay are separate entities that Nashmeira has no actual control over thay just chose to follow her orders

An Ifrit Trust that doesn't use BPs when K-B isn't summoned wouldn't be too bad, so to be treading on SMN's toes you actually have to waste 2 of your 3 allotted Trusts. Not to mention that SMN could also use this tactic for 2 x avatar XD

Summoner trusts I think should be easy to implement if you drop full-time avatars. Monsters have this mechanic in Astral Flow where regardless of having a pet elemental out they can instantly pop out an avatar for a Blood Pact and then it vanishes. I wonder if that can be applied to Trusts by giving them a few unique "spells" that eat mp, summon the avatar, do a Blood Pact and disappear. They could differentiated through which avatars and pacts they summon and a support job to flesh them out completely.
