I have always been really annoyed by the delay involved in exiting my mog house and being asked if I'd like to set my home point. I think it's pretty unnecessary, especially when the mog house i'm exiting is already set as my home point. Why not redo the options given to us when clicking on the door to our mog house, something like this:

3 options:
1. Stay indoors (or anything similar)
2. Exit Mog House
3. Set Home Point and Exit

options 2 and 3 could then either place you in the area you zoned in from, or, if you've completed the 'shortcut' quest for the area, ask you which area to zone to.

I think this would be a very simple menu change to make while eliminating an annoying delay each time we exit our mog house.

I like this idea, although i don't really mind being asked if i would like to set my home point, although before i had all my warps and such accidentally setting my HP in the wrong place was rather a pain.

LOL I have done this multiple times. I did it again last night when returning to spend merits.

3 options:
1. Exit Mog House.
2. Select an area to exit to.
3. Set Home Point to this exit.

There, fixed.
Get rid of the stuff you can hit 'escape' or 'cancel' for; like "Stay in your room", "Do Nothing", etc.. PLEASE, Square Enix.

I'd rather have the options as:
1. Select area to exit to.
2. Set Home Point. (Where inside your house is your home point instead of in front)
3. Stay in your room.
