One thing I don't understand, will you need the Key Item per person?

Maybe I am reading the note incorrectly, but it seems that every person will need to purchase the key item once and that will be reused every real life day. But even if that is not the case, every person who wants to enter will have to have his/her own key item.

I read it as it will be a sort of assualt type thing now where each person needs an unused 'tag', in this case an hour glass in order to enter the zone.

I thought that, but then thought it could also be like Nyzul Isle where they drag the alliance in hence the unable to re-enter part.

Eitherway I'll probably be buying the KI anyway.

You will now purchace an hourglass KI that is not expendable and everyone will need said key item because they will all be entering the zone singlely.

This is why I ask, they have not said that. Only that the item would be replaced with a permanent key item-instead, not that the way it is will require EVERYONE to purchase said key-item.

Does the KI claim the zone for you group? or will just any1 be able to enter a dyna zone willy nilly....causing ppl that are after frag/attest nms for relics and relic trials to be screwed by douches?

They clearly stated that regular Claiming/dropping rules will apply, as in you can't attack another party's mobs. Why does no one read?

Nm will have a KI pop system and you can have just 1 KI for run. First group enter, kill NM..then a second group, then the soloer and so on...one at a time...there will be some competition to pop it asap but after that its just a single line where no one can do more than one trip for real day ^^

I read, how very rude of you, the dev post clearly stated thats claiming dropping rules would apply on mobs....but i dont know if you're new to dyna, the whole zone used to be claimed by 1 group at a time, no other groups could enter, etc, etc.....learning how to read is hard i guess, grammar is a challenge

Everyone will need to get the permanent Key Item from the goblins that now handle the hourglass. This key item will have a timer on it like transport rings and signal pearl.

Inside some NM's will be KI popped NM's similar to Abyssea but also similar to those NM weapon augment fights in the past, no one outside the alliance can interfere so there will be no stealing of NM's.

And there is no restriction of how many different alliances can be in the zone at once. The line will form to pop NM's, I am sure. Although what I was not sure about was if the zone will hold more than the 64 or 36 players at a time

I do not know how much clearer than that it can get. Did we all read the same release?

Yes, and not once did it say in black and white, EVERYONE will need to obtain this item. Feel free to point out where it does.

i dont understand the problem...on day one you have to go to the goblin and buy a ki for something that will be like 10k gil (they said affordable). end of the story.

everyone will need the ki to enter and will need to wait 24 real life hours to reenter.

"Adjustments:

Reservations will no longer be required to enter the above areas.
New key items will replace the "Timeless Hourglass" and "Perpetual Hourglass" items needed for entry.

The key items need only be obtained once.
It will be made available at an affordable price via the Goblin NPCs presently dealing in hourglasses."

Currently to enter Dynamis you need a perpetual hourglass. This new KI replaces both the timeless hourglass (used for reservations that are no longer needed and to produce the perpetual hourglasses for yourself and alliance members) and the perpetual hourglass (actual mode of entry). Since you always had to have a perpetual hourglass to enter and this new KI replaces that, I'd say it's 99% certain that everyone who wants to enter Dynamis needs to have this new KI.

They said it only needs to be obtained once. Why they'd bother with that instead of just automatically reducing everyone's gil by whatever amount after the update is beyond me.

only player rank6 and level 65 can enter abyssea...i suppose the goblin will do the check...
else you will need to do the check every time you login:

1) do you already have the KI?
2) if not: are you level 65 and rank6?

wasted cpu time lol

I dont like the changes proposed to dynamis. Its changing to an abyssea zone. I dont go to abyssea because I dont like it. Now SE has decided to take away the only end game I did. My group went to dynamis twice a week for the last 3 years. SE is changing the game so much, its become a too easy game and no point in continuing playing. I wish we could still use the hour glass to run an old style game but I dont see that happening.

took party in earlier today and only seen stuff drop in our party from mobs we killed

You just automatically get them like you would outside.
