I posted this thread in the past and received no response, but you can really improve the English-speaking community's feedback if you clarify this:

Which definition of satisfied are you using?

Simply HAPPY, or APPEASED TO THE FULL?

If I say I am satisfied with something, are you taking it as "This player likes that update and would love more like that" or are you taking it as "This player likes that update and things it's perfect now and no more changes need to be made"?

Similarly, if I say I am dissatisfied because the update fell short of what I want, do you think "The player hated that update and we should leave that content alone" or "The player thinks we need to do more to improve this content"?

THE WORD CHOICE ON THE SURVEY COULD MEAN EITHER. PLEASE CLARIFY. IF THE JAPANESE WORDING IS AMBIGUOUS TOO, PLEASE FORWARD THIS QUESTION TO THEM!!!!

Thanks :)

That's why there are semi satisfied and the same for dissatisfied. Though I my self would like boxes that open up to expand on the whys if you choose dissatisfied or not planing on doing this. Mainly because I think a lot of people choose a not planing to do this click on it because they might feel like the event has a lot of things wrong with it like things dealing with monstrosity for instance. While people who have done the event but only have a small dislike(s) with it might want to say a bit more why.

Concerning lately some of the things we get told the Dev team is doing or changing isn't in the same thought path as the player base.

yeah like I clicked dissatisfied for "pet food" - but I worried they would think that means I hate the idea of it... when what it means is that I don't think it's powerful enough and it doesn't achieve what we were told they were trying to achieve.

Being able to type in "Why's" would make it so that someone would have to be paid to translate, as opposed to the set options which are considered to be the same in all regions for simpler collation.

The surveys as they are right now can be handled by an intern. Professional translation OTOH. Not to mention they likely feel that if someone wants to explain WHY they feel a certain way, they will post here.

At length in some cases.

If we're really lucky they'll come back after this survey with another saying "what's wrong with these X number of categories that people were dissatisfied with" and there will then be more multiple choice (to reduce the requirement for translation) options such as "I wanted more from this content" or "It was too easy" "It was too difficult" "it seemed buggy" etc. to clarify the reasoning.

Devs: if that wasn't the original plan, it's a good idea^^

Just envision it as a scale of 1-5 of satisfaction from the content, with yet to take part but planning to as being NA yet, and no plans to take part being NA. I agree with the desire for a means to explain your answers, but as Sapphire pointed it, it's just really not feasible. It might be possible for Japan only, but even then it'd greatly complicate their data.

I didn't mean as a write in explain type but more of what Babekeke said. We do go to the boards and we still get misunderstandings on the Dev teams half in what the reason why no one plan on doing this or that or why we're unhappy with it. Heck even if you read the findings from the last two you can see clearly that it doesn't seem they are thinking in an oh well maybe lil Susie doesn't do this or doesn't like this because of it being too difficult or because they felt it was lacking in something. Instead it seems they just see it as a black n white type of polling.

I just read through the "Results of the April Survey" and for the stuff where there there's a wide spread or high number of dissatisfied votes, they post this:

Relic equipment reforging

This result showed that there is a large split between players who are satisfied with this content and those that are not. We'll be analyzing the reason for the dissatisfaction and do our best to work on a solution.

Addition of job-specific equipment

This was a similar result to that of relic equipment reforging. We'll be looking into adjustments based on the feedback posted on the forums and fan sites.
