This year my account will be 10 years old, and i'm tired.
After playing since 2004 with the gaps of me coming and going getting larger all the time i no longer have the will to play FFXI much. My gear is falling behind and i just want to finish the story.
I have nothing against the game or the direction its gone since SOA, its still and probably always will be my favourite MMO. The story in FFXI is the only place i get that old FF feeling. SE's recent attempts (FF13 onwards) are just....poor.
I don't keep up with the news much these days so i'm wondering if SE have mentioned how long its gonna take them to finish the main story. Has there been any word on this? or would anyone like to venture a guess?
