Hi SE,

Can bst's get some tp bonus and magic damage axes? Warriors don't need this, so keep them out of this.

But what about all those cloudsplitter war builds eh!?! But seriously though bst has needed replacements for those since soa... amongst others

Lol, yea, Wars are not lacking atm^^ Thumbs up.

I put OAT and magic boosts on my WKR axes for cloudsplitter, not bad.

If we could put some stuff on delve axes, that would be cool. The plain axes that is.

Also, pets could use some as well, plumage sucks on hard content XD

Also might want to add that compared to what a lot of other magical ws got cloudsplitter/primal rend and heck axe ws in general didn't get much this update. While several other ws that were already awesome became epic :(. I mean still using ruinator despite it not getting anything

True, compared to other dd, bst is well behind; especially in the ws department. Seen a screenshot of a 20k leaden salute XD. Smns do awesome BP damage which is vastly superior to bst, but oddly, giving bst pets powerful ready moves will break the game "Shrugs" Highly doubt any normal monster has potential to dish out 10k special abilities in delve 2.0 save the older ones bst could do.

You know whats really odd, ppl fear bst being awesome on weaker crap, but guns can reach those kind of crazy numbers...hmmmm......

Yeah, I'm watching a LS mate with a level 75 annihilator do the killshot trials. He's doing 1500 damage on a normal shot and 3000 on a crit and he's not even using an item level gun. And my MNK tears through too weaks faster than my BST does because of counterstance. If being good at killing weak things is our niche, we don't even have the top tier at that.

I don't really care for the original suggestion but if the dev team wants to make bst equal to other DDs they should add some VERY STRONG axes that are BST only.

or stay with the core of the job being the pet and beef our pets through the roof on damage and make our sic/ready moves worth the time it takes to use them... seriously, getting awfully tired of pulling hate off my pet on my now meh geared bst (excepting the 119 axe), went most of a decade off the strat of having my pet tank the mob while I added a bit of damage and after dnc rollout some either eva or def down, now if I want pet to hold hate I need to go elsewhere, doesn't seem right. But at least outside boss fights I can charm viably again, missed that.

Honestly, this is what I am expecting from the pet job update (Optimistic XD). We do not need a super buffed ws; in theory, we have a powerful companion capable of some serious dmg. Imo, our pets should be able to equate or surpass our ws dmg. For instance, my calamitys can spike up to 8-9k on incredibly easy SOA mobs, the pet should be able to do 8-9k as well. In essence, our pets takecare of themselves. Of course they need to release pets capable of such dmg, because lets be honest, you would have to boost the crap outta the chapuli or boar's moves for it to amount to much. They should just release the pets with the most dd potential/utility on top of boosting ready move dmg.

Several of these monsters were considered a no go (Notably Mantid, Scorp, Craklaw); waaay too strong. However, now that sams have broken the game (And now we all need updates XD) and ppl are doing 20K gun skills like its nothing; I think it is not out of the realm of possibility. We are still restricted to a ready meter, unlike BPs delays (Which deal insane dmg) or trigger happy rngs (or even cors).

A good hit rate (By increased stats), ready move boost, and non-bs pets should do it imo. No use turning us into mnks, sams, or other dd; we have pets, might as well make them work. You pay top dollar for these things, they should be powerful.

Here is a scenario, they stated that master and pet would be enhanced (Have not been in any endgame crap since update, my numbers could be off XD, farm salvage and craft atm), Bandwagon boy (sam) > Tachi-whatever > 14466 dmg, Neglected Nancy (bst) > Ruinator > 7098 dmg, Preying Percy (mantid) > Preying posture (2 charges) > attack/magic attack boost > Bandwagon boy > Tachi > 10223 dmg, Neglected Nancy > Ruinator > 7309 dmg > Preying Percy > Slicing Sickle (1 charge) > 7655 Dmg. Percy crits and hits harder than the master and experiences no real acc issues on difficult content. Percy can basically hold his own, the master may not be able to steal hate from him due to his low charge ready moves and powerful dps.

Not saying they would do that, but I could live with this personally. Currently, the price and efficacy of these jugs does not equate.

Edit: But to the original post, yea, a powerful unique bst axe would be nice. Calamity and even cloudsplitter are pretty consistent at 3000tp.

@WoW we did have hippo obviously and while his ready moves were a bit underwhelming he went a LONG time as the jug of choice. as to sabotender, we did have one at 75 but he was actually kind of underwhelming. I always used funguar at that level unless a specific pet was called for, that thing was TOUGH. and dirt cheap I might add.

You are absolutely correct Glam^^

We did have a hippo and Sabotender (Awhile back). However, like all of our jugs, falcorr was awesome, in theory. When falcorr was first announced, most ppl were expecting hoof volley to be implemented and rightly so. The normal ones in the past use it. Hippos whom have access to hoof volley, may do it right after a special move. This is what i was expecting from falcorr. If falcorr was a native hippo, his moves would have been pretty strong. For instance, iirc, our monsters have special traits, they should not have completely dismissed hoof volley, since normal mobs use it; it should have been given to falcorr on a 50 or 60% proc rate after any ready move. Falcorr > fantod > hoof volley procs > hits enemy. Falcorr > backheel > hoof volley procs again > hits enemy. Falcorr Fantod > Triple attack (No proc).

The Sabotender was perhaps our rarest jug and part of a dated sic system. We could not choose any monster move back in the day. 1K dmg was a big deal at lvl75, but Amigo rarely used it after sic. 1k needles were a big deal back then, but only giving us 1k needles was understandable, but not in the SoA era. 10K on the crappy ready meter would not break anything imo. pets do not gain tp nearly as fast as any dd. I mean, just seen a screen shot of a 20k ws in delve 2.0 XD.

Basically, our jugs are usually stripped down or weak monsters to begin with (Chapuli and Mandies). SE were stripping us down (For balance sake i assume, on weaker crap), but the strong were quietly getting stronger. The update has to be incredible to balance things out. They adjusted ready moves before, but it was a no go. Perhaps they will add a JA which enhances the master/pet's normal and special move dmg by a sizable amount or a powerful weapon like the op alluded to "Shrugs"
