A new type of objective--daily objectives--will be introduced.
Daily objectives may be attempted once per day, and completing them will reward players with A.M.A.N. vouchers and other types of bounties.

The following three daily objectives are scheduled to be implemented in the coming version upate.

Vanquish Multiple Enemies
Defeat the requisite number of experience-yielding enemies.

Buff Allies
Buff a party member or alliance member other than yourself the requisite number of times.

Heal for X+ HP
Heal a party or alliance member other than yourself for X or more HP the requisite number of times.

So my question is: Do these objectives (where applicable) replace the similar already existing and repeatable objectives, or are they in addition to them?

We already have a repeatable Vanquish Multiple Enemies objective. That isn't going away to be replaced by a once-a-day one is it?

I'm sure it's an in addition to kinda thing. Doesn't seem like they'd remove objectives tbh.

I hope they are in addition to existing ones. The wording does seem to support this. I am quite excited to have a daily healing/buffing objective!

Greetings,

The daily objectives will be completely new objectives and existing objectives that are similar will remain as they are. If you set both an existing objective and a daily objective at the same time it will be possible to kill two birds with one stone and complete both simultaneously.

I noticed that Monk's ability "Mantra" (increase max HP) does not give any progress towards "Buff Allies" Daily objective, even when used on a full party. :-(
I know it says buff allies other than yourself, but do mage's aoe buffs work for this?
And I wonder if Warcry on party work for this too..

If not, should the daily objective's description be changed to say "use magic to buff allies other than yourself"?

I can't speak for WHMs but Accession spells don't count, so I'd assume neither do -ra spells. These things all target the caster, but affect the party, I believe this is why.

Protectra, Shellra, and Bar-ras all work, though you only get credit for 1 even if you hit all 5 members.

Songs work the same way.

I've tried a few job ability ones and none of them work so yeah appears to be magic onry

They've counted for me as long as I targeted a real party member. Targeting non party members or npcs in the party didn't though
