So many furnishings and not enough space!

There's a lot of nice furnishings in the game, but there's no place to place them. I mean I've played for years feeling like our mog house was just a tad too small. I wonder would it be possible to add a second floor to the mog houses that could be accessed either upon entrance to the mog house or via our personal moogle?

I don't really care for more storage and inventory space, just a place to put my furnishings earned from special events and missions.
