Please add "Mog Spam Dumpster" or "Feed to Crabauble" for Rare NM pops in Mog Garden

The incessant sky pops that appear in flotsam are unbearable. This also goes for Peiste Pellets, Trophy Shields, Gnat Pellets, and Smoky Flasks. We shouldn't have to dig through our inventories to find that pesky Autumnstone to discard so we can pick up the new pesky Autumnstone so that we aren't locked out of flotsam indefinitely.

Please do one or more of the following:

1. Add a recycle bin for storing this garbage.
2. Add a "Feed to Crabauble" option to destroy the flotsam.
3. Remove the rare tag.
4. Allow this trash to be sold to that gullible Green Thumb Moogle, even if it's just 1000 gil.
5. Make unclaimed flotsam disappear and get replaced at JP midnight.
6. Allow this trash to be sold on AH. (last choice option)

P.S.: no one wants this stuff from bazaars. Please understand that even though some of it was once desired, it has no value anymore.

It would be nice to at least have a "throw it back" option if we already have the item. I've actually missed out on a few days of flotsam now because I forgot to throw away a smoky flask so I can get the one trapped there. Used to be that they got swapped if you left it there and came back, but people abused it (of course) so now it stays same forever, being really annoying.

yes, meaning i need to STOP gardening (cant plant or harvest while one in bags and one in furrow) and go into my inventory and search to sell/drop JUST THAT ITEM while gardening on all my toons... its retarded that its even rare...there is no purpose to forcing us to only have one at any given time ESP now that it drops nearly every time we harvest our crops...

We definitely understand the convenience of a feature like this since it is often difficult to organize your inventory, but this is something that would be difficult to address.

This would require the addition of various settings and aspects that have to be saved as character data, and along with the fact that there are limitations to the amount of data a single character can retain, the increase in character data would cause for longer loading times when changing areas.

Thanks for the reply! I realize that a recycle bin would probably be hard to implement. What about some way to reject our flotsam for the day, so we don't have to search through our bags to discard rare items just to pick up the same rare item so that we aren't locked out of flotsam indefinitely. I initially thought of "Toss into the ocean," but pollution is bad, and crabauble looks hungry. I think he could use some springstones. So, can we have a "Reject/discard flotsam without picking it up" option, such as "Feed to Crabauble"?

I have a pet peeve about the use (or misuse) of the word 'toon.' That does not make me "uptight", it's just one little thing that grinds my gears. You say it doesn't harm anyone, I say it does harm people because it propagates misuse of a word that doesn't have the meaning you're associating with it, thereby harming the English language.

I found your post to be extremely rude, causing the same negative vibes and issues without any constructiveness that you accused me of. I also really appreciate you labeling me as some "type" of person. So if my post really affected you that much, you could have just used the block list instead of making a comment more rude and unconstructive than what I posted.

that is ONE of the ways language works and evolves - words take on new meanings all the time based on how people use them

there are many words we use today that had VERY different meanings before we were even born, and there are many words today that will have VERY different meanings after we are long dead

there are many words we use today that we CREATED that never even existed before we were born, and there are going to be many words CREATED that will never exist until after we are long dead
