Alter Ego Goblin and Moogle suits

I read on the Freshly Picked Vana'diel that if your wearing the Goblin/Moogle suits from the Mooblin Battle event that your alter egos would be wearing them too, I just tried it out and nothing happens, they are still in the normal gear. Has this feature been added yet or am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: If you call your adventuring fellow NPC they will be wearing the goblin suit, so that's what it's meaning.

Apologies for the confusion!

As Mnejing has pointed out I incorrectly wrote alter egos instead of adventuring fellows, and it is adventuring fellows that will wear this equipment (as much as I'd love to see Prishe in them...). I've corrected the Freshly Picked post to reflect this as well.
