Opening
A couple of points to clarify before presenting my idea:
First of all please note lots of references I am saying "weapons" but what I am talking about also applies to shields and bard instruments as well.
Second, the purpose of this thread as it implies is just to relay an idea. I do not expect my idea to be implemented, but hope my idea can be adapted. If other players have ideas along the same concept to present I'd welcome and appreciate your participating in sharing ideas by replying to this thread ^^.

Dear Development Team:

With the success of relaying the issue with balance between relics, mythics, and empyreans I would now like to take the opportunity to present an idea I've had in mind ever since the official forums went live.

Idea: Implementing a series of quests or missions based on the origin of relic, mythic, and empyreans and future/present day in vanadiel quests/missions along the same storyline. Completing these quests/missions will allow players to strengthen and unlock hidden potentials of their items.

Background: I am sure a lot of relic and mythic owners share the same sentiments back then when they were building their weapons. That is the quests and story lines involved. I do not own a mythic but I've heard a lot of great things regarding the storyline and cinematic cut scenes.

With the new magian trials, players have been able to upgrade and further advance their weapons. This system has been successful and should be continued however I believe new quests or missions specific to the weapon integrated in the upgrade process would be appreciated and should be considered. :o

Please note the following are just ideas from a player standpoint. I understand the development team may have better ideas in making this come true.

Flow of Upgrade Process

Level 90 -> 94 magian trial | Level 94 -> 95 special quest
Level 95 -> 98 magian trial | Level 98 -> 99 special quest
or if the quests are detailed like missions(many different quests put together)
Level 90 -> 95 special mission
Level 95 -> 99 special mission

Examples of quest/mission content
Level 95 Journeying back to the past to experience how your weapon got created and background of the soul within the weapon. These encounters will allow you to understand how your weapon can advance beyond its current limits.

Level 99 Today, unsettled business left by the predecessors of your weapon for you to complete like a confrontation with an enemy of the previous user of the weapon, etc

Level 99 Optional Quest with either item award or unlocking new job ability, spell, or weaponskill-
BCNM that involves defeating an HNM or Megaboss that requires the usage of all relics or all mythics or all empyreans in the alliance you bring in.

To summarize I would like to suggest the Development Team to consider developing a series of quests or missions revolved around the background of the top tier weapons in end game progressing from quests involved in the past to know more about the weapon to present day quests continuing where the predecessors\previous owners of the weapons left off. For the final upgrade at 99 it would be exciting to have something big like an 3 different missions involving HNM Megabosses that require an alliance of players wielding all of the weapons to defeat it. Although the idea is kind of extreme and lol would be hard to find a Claustrum ^^; I think it would be fun. :p

Lastly, I'm sure there are still many surprises in store as we approach level 99 but I just wanted to let the Development Team know in my opinion the concept of weapon specific ws's carried over to the form of equipment specific spells like what was done with Twilight Gear was very cool. As the three categories of weapons approach level 99 I hope the Development Team continues to take innovative ideas like this and apply. :D

Not sure daily bumping is the right thing to do, I'm sure they read all the posts anyways, even if they don't reply.

I understand and trust Community Reps make every best effort to read all posts however with thousands of posts to go through there is always a chance of some being overlooked.

While bumping a thread is not constructive, I believe this is the only thing I can do instead of allowing the thread to be burried in the sea of posts. Like I said I don't expect my idea to be implemented. Just a simply acknowledgement that we saw and will pass on is good enough for me ^^

i actualy like the idea especily for a ja or spell maybe a weponskill id like to gaiun the power of a serpent gardian personaly <i like salamandra breath>

Yup Claustrum needs more uses. If there are new quests that awaken the souls within weapons that have a mind of their own and can do stuff similar to an npc it would be cool.

Yup just a new category to expand flexibility on abilities and spells. I think what lots of players want is a branching of emp/mythic/relic that can give different attributes and benefits based on which path you take. Benefits can be as descibes new spells new job abilities or new weaponskills attained when equiping the weapon. This can promote a diversity that "my emp weapon is different from yours, etc".

Exactly, as I have explained personally while it took a long time to farm ancient currency and fight attestation and animated nm's several times before the level cap increase beyond 75, I found the most fascinating parts were actually within the cutscenes at the end relating to story behind pre-decessors of the weapons. Be nice to have a continuation and possible journey back to past like WOTG to be involved in those stories.
