New Avatar's....really?

I see a ton of posts on new avatars and maybe i just didnt read all the posts since the forums opened but i didnt see this mentioned so ill put it down and lets see ur thoughts, and personally i think we should get 4 more...and heres why..

Fusion - Pheonix(fire,light)
Distortion - Bismark(ice, water)
Fragmentation - Hydra(lightning/wind)
Scission - Brothers(earth/dark)

pick whatever ones you want, pheonix is the only one i really want XD but even abyssea has elementals with dual elements...

we should be getting upgraded avatars that have more elemental options...

personally id even like to see elementals that can be setup like a bluemage/pankration setup

be able to collect(or just give us options) and set traits we want on our elementals, resist sleep on light elemental? fast cast? cure potency?, maybe options that unlock new spells for elementals when combined traits are active, changing a water spirit(blm) to a buffing water elemental that protects the ally from water attacks...etc

i just think theres so many options for smn and its like they just give us 1 new skill or avatar then forget about us

the Whisper of the WyrmKing is available through there so that is one step and it already has battlefield setup for him so just need to add him and dialogue to appropriate npc's :)

Gravitation, what you said is level 1 sc earth.
Shocked no one said anything about that yet.

I am not sure what the point is matching SC elements is, unless you want their phy BPs to be used in level 2 sc combinations ( i/e making light)

I personally will settle for nothing less than the Cadbury bunny. Also when it bloddpacts please include the sound "buck,buck,buck,buck" and the animation around it's mouth where it's bunny muzzle wiggles. Thank You!

SE barely has enough PS2 memory left to do all these little tweaks; there aren't going to be new avatars. Yeah, it's fun to talk about it, but they just can't animate new avatars without dropping PS2 support. I'm not sure what the coding / space requirements for Odin and Alexander were, but if we do get new summons, they'll be in the same vein.

I don't think summoner needs any more avatars. Quite frankly I think after the Celestial avatars every avatar that has been added since then has gotten worst and worst. I quite frankly do not see the use for additional avatars, except maybe a light avatar that did damage, and could hold hate.

I think SMN could use a lot more avitars, especially with how useless/timeconuming odin/alex are. But a new light one is definatly on the necessity list. How about Phoenix with a 2hr Raisega III?

You do realize your argument leads to a ridiculous stance? First, I thought that's an amazing suggestion...avatars that have tier 2/dual natures. Then I thought some more what about tier 3 light(fire,wind,ice,water?) avatar and dark(earth, thunder, whatever) avatar. Finally, what about all nature/god avatar(all elements).

I don't mean to sound like a troll, I'd love new summons like the next guy, but our regular avatars need major work as is.

As an aside, I would still love that giant moogle from last fight in "a kupo detat". He's already exists in game as a model with moves and a cool look. Just slap on player control and a few Bloodpacts and wards. While he's "avatar size" and floats that moogle is not on the same scale as an Odin, Bahamut, or Alexander so doesnt need the "2hr pop" reason.

He's not a god? Listen moogles have been around in almost all final fantasy series, that's more of a god than some of the avatars we have. Which Leads to...

"Big-fat, chocobo"(aka King Chocobo) summons. Hell why not? Could be fun. King chocobo could be a super-tank...it just sits there taking minimum damage and squawks(provoke) multiple times.

I REALLY think its time ps2 ffxi was dropped and people upgrade to pc or xbox360.... its been years and the ps2 is holding everyone else back from letting SE make the game a lot better than it can be.

If you drop the PS2, the game is dead. There are still enough fans who play on the PS2 and don't own another platform or PC. If you arbitrarily drop a group of people, they WILL quit. Just look at how much the payment change is causing problems.
