If I were to acquire help for a quest...

How would be the best way to go about doing these? I've tried shouting in Jeuno once before (yeah, I know, "once", but certainly willing to try again though), but would San d'Oria zones (where these quests take place) work? Or... am I going to have to hope there's still a nation-separated linkshell out there that will take me? I... think my current one's dead. Or maybe it's sleeping. I'm still trying to decide.

Anyway, I'd be content to ignore these if it weren't for Mage's Ballad.

Actually, I'd like to ask in general how difficult it would be now to get people together for older quests/events?

They added mage's balad as a direct drop if you can't find any help.

From what as I have this quest line active as well for a while. Shouting even in places you can use /yell you get like one of three outcomes. Smart-asses respond, silence, or people who didnt even know of the quest line. With ending up with no help.

I did it around the time Abyssea was being released with an LS query and some shouting in San d'Oria. I also did individual /tells for people with the traits the quest was asking for.

if you have trouble finding people and really want to complete it you can offer people a small reward. If possible try to get a whole party of same race same country folks because then can do all three.

Really though /yell is your best bet. Can't see any other way of getting enough folks unless you're in a large LS
