I recently tried to access the test server after an update (never had a problem before) and now on the blue screen after I click play test server..... I get the error 3322 cannot connect to server! I talked to a GM about this issue and he suggest I come here. Please fix this problem soon as I believe it's from an update and not my computer. I've tried reinstalling 2 times & two different routers.

I suspect you mean the error code: FFXI-3332? It may vary somewhat, I suspect, but in any case, the test-server seems to indeed be down, or the way to it is.
It's not just us, either, as there are some reports of it over at the Japanese side too, but I didn't notice any official reply to it yet. Perhaps it's down for good due to being so unused, which I suspect will happen sooner than later, if this is not already it. =/
