Hello SE,
May we beastmasters have more gear that augments beast affinity, so that our beloved L99 pets can breath with new life to L119? Currently, with the "Enhances 'Beast Affinity' effect" on the Monster Gloves +2 augmented (and I'm assuming the same is true for the Ankusa Gloves +1) and beast affinity merits, our 99 pets can reach a maximum level of 114. How about some gear that adds that extra 5 levels so new pets can breathe new life? I would love to see a L119 Dipper Yuley in action!

I'd much rather SE just uncap more jugs though. It's nonsense that most of our jugs are useless at cap.

55 jug pets and I think only 6 of them can be iLevel capped. It's severely limiting. And raising those 99 caps would give crafters a reason to make those old jugs again.

Totally agree with this.
I detest leaving older familiars behind because of pointless hard caps. It seems like such a waste.

Especially since most the new pets have kinda meh moves. While the old ones had some really neet unique moves. Also should note that even some of the 99s don't even go up to 114 :(.
I think a better solution is just to eliminate the cap on jugs. We already have to deal with getting ilvl axe to level them up but having to merit BA and upgrade glvoes to still have them rotate out while other jobs just get 1 item and bam lvld up all them pets is kinda unbalanced
Pet's should not even have a cap to begin with; unless it is 119. Why cap something that is already restricted in terms of dd and tanking capabilities.
SE may think that these jugs are more special than they truly are.........trust us, a lvl 119 ant will not break the game, because the damaging moves will most likely be removed "Wink" Lol this really bothers me because the absence of monster ability removal will solve some glaring issues with these jugs, but nooooooooo, lets add a ready meter, buff food, and boost the ws damage a little and some other complicated things besides giving us better dd/tanking pets.
But yes, i agree OP.
