Dark rings... i want!

been trying for a while now for a good set of Dark rings with -PDT, -MDT, -BDT.
Problem is im having trouble lowmanning. ; ; bad setups perhaps.. but Fell Cleave isnt working as well when the mobs are a mile apart or dont link.

small issues aside... anyone have a favorite mob set to farm for dark rings?

I actally lost a good dark ring once, I opened the chest went to grab the dark ring, nothing else in it then i got the message "rambus picks up 2 hr reset drink"

GM did not do anything when i called about it.

I dont know i can say well can we have a bit better way to get good ones in a more consistent manner then you get the replays of this gam is already too easy.

ANy mob that gives amber, get a staff and use cataclysm the same way you would cleave. w/ proper gear/atma of course.

Tonberries are nice to blu burn. Can solo the entire group of THF ones.

I go low man for these. I dont want others "taking these rings out chests" What I do is go with a small group 3~5 (can do less or more) and go up do Leeches. ANd FC them. I have a thf with me friend who does amber on the empermal's or various mobs and I can swap to sword or similar to do amber. Id suggest redmage war thf. Can do similar groups or solo also but that what works good for me. We have seen -6 physical ones abut once every 4ish hours with added stats. Best one I currently have is -4 magicgal -4 breath and a -6% phjysical
Another possibility is efts (they r more spread out) and they link. Sapplings are ok also but they dont link so pulling them together is blah. The slugs hit you with costume giving you more problems than good. I avoided doing Tonberries I got throat stabbed couple times. The lizards or others work good also with a blm pdt ga3 er or diffrent groups but for FC set up style Id still personaly stick to leeches in konchant. ... Good luck and happy hunting.

Goobbues worked for me. Slugs + Rafflesia work also (can aggro both mobs).

Ideally you will want to BLU burn and not cleave.
