Well for charmed monsters, I imagine it's the same mechanics as doing /checkparam on a non-charmed monster; i.e. you don't get detailed stats on the big bad rabbit you charmed because they don't allow /checkparam on normal monsters.

As for Monstrosity, I noticed that last night too. That's one that needs to be fixed, imo, but it sounds less like a bug and more like something not implemented yet.

Version Update notes from the Feb 18, 2014 version update
Link: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/40059

* The following text command has been introduced.
* /checkparam
Displays the following attributes of either you or your familiar in the log window.

Total attack power for main weapon slot / Total accuracy for main weapon slot / Total attack power for sub-weapon slot / Total accuracy for sub-weapon slot / Total ranged accuracy / Total ranged attack / total evasion / Total defense
* This command cannot be used on alter egos, fellows, or charmed enemies.

The issue you reported is not implemented as stated in the version update details. As far as monstrosity goes, this may be a planned project sometime down the road. But it is not a bug and is not implemented at this time.

I can see where you'd say it is just not implimented for charmed people but sounds like mere suppositiion as far as monstrosity goes. Either way how can I compare my jugs to my charmed mobs!?!
