View Full Version : Abyssea VWNM Spawn system change
S.E. should make Abyssea VoidwalkerNM's spawn like voidwatchNM, Spawned via ??? or a node on the map while using the correct key item. Farming these NM's against warpbots is a terrible experience and will deter players from pursuing their dreams of upgrade items for Empyrean Weapons/Armor...

I've been farming sparks with the pots in Abyssea - Grauberg, near where the T2 and T3 VWNMs spawn. I see a lot of folks running through farming these. I even make a half assed attempt to farm my own T3 pop because I see people doing /yells to buy the pops and I figure a little more gil could never hurt. Most of the time I get the message that my abyssite emits no light, so most of the time the NM is not available. It doesn't bother me too much because hunting down the VWNM is an afterthought; I'm really here for the sparks and the pots. But I can't imagine how frustrating it would be if this were my primary goal.
A couple quick thoughts:
-- Add the colorless souls to the standard Voidwalker NMs that are popped outside of Abyssea. Add them to the higher tier (4 and 5) mobs
-- Remove the Ex designator from the colorless souls so that at least they can be sold in bazaar and traded. That way guys like me could sell the souls directly instead of going through the circuitous route of selling a pop.

They could even keep the entire process inside Abyssea if they added drops to Visions and Scars VNMs.
