Is there a reason the /equip command has to specify a slot? Wouldn't it solve a lot of problems if you could just use the /equip command with a list of items. No item in the game will fit in to multiple slots. Just sayin.

because you can always use equip slot "" to remove a slot item.
Prime example are for RNG/THF/COR to unequip a ra/ex ammo piece so they will not accidentially shoot/throw it.
And then there are the other example, when you wanted to equip 2 of the same rings (again i.e. 2 RACC rings, if you dont tell it which finger it is to go onto, would the system just put 1 on and ignore the other then)?
And lastly, there's no way in hell I'm going to go edit through 20 books of marcos. And I'm sure majority of people who uses macros would feel the same way.

The absurdity of the thought of equipping pants on my head made me overlook ear and ring pieces. I guess you'd have to put both items explicitly in the same command. The goal here is to get at least 6 items in 1 command. I'm just trying to cut down on reasons people tell me I have to use 3rd party software to play my job. BTW, first replies are known trolls, ignore their BS.

The goal here is to get at least 6 items in 1 command.1 command meaning 1 macro or 1 command meaning 1 line of text? The first of these 2 is able to be done now, the second of these 2 are not really being assisted by what you suggest it would seem unless I misunderstood.

Both bring up valid reasons, not their faults you are unable to understand them.

Yes, these are legitimate reasons why one would need to specify a slot. Simplest solution would simply be to add more lines to a macro.
I'm not sure of what all can be fit on one line in the macro actually, at least what can be fit on it without getting error messages.

they could however support tags within the same line. /equip <head> "Super Hat" <legs> "Mega pants" etc
Lots of people (on the pc) said they've made changes like not needing quotation marks and using many more abbreviations so...did they do it so we could fit more on each line?
