Is it still really necessary to limit the amount of merit weapon skills to 15 (points)?
Some players want to enjoy all jobs and all their weapon skills, and yet I don't see how limiting the merit weapon skills to 15/15 points balances the game?
Recently we were allowed (if we so choose to put the time/gil in) to unlock (*ALL*) of the walk of echos weapon skills - for all jobs - therefore, how is this still a game balancing issue to not allow everyone to max all merit weapon skills if they so chose to put the time and energy into it?
I would be happy if SE could even double it - give me 30 points instead of 15.
Many jobs at end game level still require 5/5 merits for their weapon skill, so by that extension SE is limiting me to playing 3 jobs at end game level? I see no need to intentionally cripple my other jobs in this manner.
Am I missing something here, or does this restriction just not make sense?
