are certain synths hq rate being gimped?

im having big trouble hq synthing on sole sushi (84).my current cooking level is 107,i tried facing se on lightsday with hq and synth success rate rings from soa.i have the cooking stall and i went with what wiki said and tried the synth on a new moon.i was 1/48.next day i made some coconut rusks(85),on a half full moon with my rings on and got a good amount of hq.today i tried sole sushi again,the moon was @ %95,i had advanced synth support on,it was earthsday,i used a coconut rusk,was facing se,had my hq and synth success rings from soa on and got 2/16 on hq.its frustrating because im buying the black sole at the guild because there are 0 on the ah and my fishing is at 34 right now,anyone else seeing any issues with hq on sole sushi? :mad: :(

Hard to tell exactly with that run on but sounds like you are still tier 1 though you should be able to hit tier 2. As such your hq rate should only be around 5-10% which some small unknown increase from the ring and possibly the rusk. So 2/16 is right in there and 1/48 isn't exactly that far out. Statistics are a cruel mistress you have to take a much longer road with much much much higher sample size to try to reach the conclusion you are asking. Also day/direction is a myth
